birthday surprise

chapter 1

My life had been pretty average, until I heard of Why Don't We. They changed my entire life. Everything is a lot more colorful, more bright, and just a lot more.. better. Ive always wanted to meet them but I haven't been able to due to money. But this year could turn into something different ;)

(current day aka my birthday)
As I drive back home from school I see this car Ive never seen before in my driveway. I don't think too much of it, and just assume it's one of my relatives coming to visit for my birthday. I walk into the door and put my shoes by the door.

"Mom I'm home!" I yell. She doesn't answer and I just figure she's outside with whoever is in the driveway and so I go put my backpack and jacket in my bedroom. As I turn the corner a swarm of five hot and really cute guys start singing happy birthday to me. And then it hits me. ITS WHY DONT WE! IN MY HOUSE! ON MY BIRTHDAY! When they finish singing my mom comes walking into the room with a cake that has my name in big letters on it and on the edges the boys' signatures are signed in frosting. It is by far the best cake I have ever seen. I give her a big hug and say thank you into her ear. Then I turn around to the wdw boys and give all of then a hug. First I hugged Daniel, then Corbyn, then Jonah, and then Zach- my favorite. Finally, I hugged Jack. This hug was different from the rest. This one was longer, warmer, more bear like. After I pulled away Jonah started talking. "Hey, so we were thinking we could take you out for a birthday dinner. We'll pick you up at 8?" He asks.
"Of course." I answer. They all leave my house and get into the mystery car in the drive way. Once they're gone I give my mother one of the biggest hugs I've ever given.
"How did you manage to do this for me mom?" I ask her.
"I have my connections.." She replies. "So Ive actually been thinking. What if you fly back to LA with them and live with Logan? What do you think?"
"What do I think?!? I'd love to! Are you coming with?" I say excitedly.
"No, hun actually I'll be going to Europe for a year for that new job I got." She says. "Now go get packed because once you get back from dinner you have a plane to catch."

At 8:00 the boys pick me up and we head to Red Lobster. After we ordered our food Jack asks me, "so? Whatd you say?"
"About what? Me flying to LA with you guys? That would be amazing." I answer.
"Great!" The boys say.

As we walk to their car to go to the airport Jack stands to my side. We were all silent, but there wasn't any awkward silence. It was just so perfect, and that's when I knew that this year was going to be one of the best.
