chapter 22

(Lizzy's pov)
A few minutes later the police get to the apartment.
"I'm officer Kelly and this is my partner John, what seems to be the problem here?" One says.
"This guy" Jonah says pointing to Matt, "tried to rape my friend. We we're trying to get him off of her when he knocked out my other friend. He hasn't gotten up yet. We checked his pulse and it was still going, but we're worried."
"Tried to rape?" Officer John asked him.
"He undressed her and had her pinned against the wall when we got here." Jonah explains. John walks over to Matt and cuffs his hands together while Officer Kelly walks over to Daniel to see what happened to him. Just then Logan walks in.
"Woah! I'm sorry officer, I didnt think they cared about me filming in the parking lot! They didn't say anything! please don't arrest me." He says.
"And who may you be?" John asks, trying to get Matt up.
"That's Logan. Lizzy's brother." Corbyn steps forward.
"What happened? Why are there police in my apartment?" I hear Logan ask. Corbyn walks away with his head down. Finally he sees me. Jack had his arm around my waist and my red teary eyes must've caught Logan's attention because his face immediately scrunched up and started walking towards us.
"What happened?" He asks. I look down, unable to meet his eyes. How was I supposed to tell him? My brother. The one who told me to never talk to Matt again. Jack holds me closer.
"Lizzy, what happened? You can tell me." He says.
"Matt... He.. He raped me." I fall into Logan's arms as he hugs me.
"The fuck was he thinking?" Logan whispers. I hear Kelly talking to Jonah.
"So he will be alright. Just give him a few more hours and he'll wake up. His body is stunned right now. We can take Matt to the office, but we can't take him to jail until we go to court. Would you like to set up a time now or another time?" She asks him.

"Another time please." He says. She gives him her card and helps John carry Matt out.

"I made dinner." I say quietly into Logan's chest. Everyone sits around the table and puts their taco together. most of the dinner was quiet and had a heavy vibe. No one really knew what to say. I didn't know what to think.

After dinner I walked up to my room and threw my blankets over me hoping that everything that had happened was just a dream. A little but later I felt a dip by my side.
"Hey." I hear Jack say. I dont respond.
"Do you want me here?" He asks me. I nod my head.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I shake my head no.
"Okay, I love you." I put my head on his legs and stare up at the ceiling while he gently strokes my face.

a/n: im afraid to say that i don't think this story will be going on much longer. there will definitely be a few more chapters, but im just not feeling it anymore.
but i am excited to let you know that i will be releasing another fanfic soon. this time it will be about Jonah. im not sure when exactly ill be posting the first few chapters, but just thought id let you know, so keep an eye out :)
