chapter 15

(Jack's pov)
*a few days earlier*
"Guys! We need to have a band meeting." Corbyn yells from downstairs. Jonah, Zach, Daniel and I all file into the living room.
"What's up?" Daniel asks. We don't have these often, especially called at the last minute.
"Lizzy is moving back home with her dad in a few weeks." Corbyn blurts out. The four of us go into shock.
"What do you mean she's leaving?" Daniel asks.
"She says it's because she needs to get away from us. She thinks she has ruined our lives since she's gotten here." Corbyn answers him, looking at me. I walk into my bedroom so the boys wouldnt see me cry.

(present day)
"Jack, come on. You can't be in your room the rest of your life and crying. It could ruin your voice." Jonah calls out from the other side of my door. They've been trying to get me out since yesterday. The past few days all I've thought about was life without Lizzy. She made me really happy, and if she would be gone, well that's not a life Id want to live in. I finally crack and grab my car keys. I drive to the flower shop down the street and pick up some yellow daisies, which are Lizzy's favorite, and start driving to her  place. I knock on the door praying that shes home. Logan opens the door for me.
"Jack! I haven't seen you in a while bro. How have you been?"
"I'm good, I just need to speak to Lizzy. Is she home?" I ask peering around the apartment.
"Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy. Its all been about Lizzy lately." He chuckles. "Yeah she home." He shouts for her to come downstairs. She walks down a couple of minutes later, looking the saddest I've ever seen her. I could tell she was trying to hide it, but I could tell.
"Hey Liz." I say with a small smile.
"Hey..." She looks at Logan.
"I'll leave now." He winks at me and leaves the room.
"So I hear youre leaving." I tell her. She doesn't say anything. "Why?"
"I feel like only bad things have happened since I got here. I became something I don't want to be. I've messed up everything and-" She explains.
"Not just bad things. I got to meet you, I got to kiss you, I got to love you. You got to meet me and the boys. Sure, that led to other things, but we learned. We're smarter than we were before." I take her hand. "But if you want to move away, I just want you to know that no matter how far, or how long our away from me, I will always love you." I wait for her to reply, but again, no answer. I start walking towards the door.

(Lizzy's pov)
I couldn't lose him. Not again. But I had to. Then the next thing I knew I grab his hand and pulled him into me. I kissed his lips, and he kissed back.
"I love you too." I pull back a few inches so just our foreheads and noses are touching.
"Hey Lizzy we gotta get go..." Logan walks into the room and his voice fades when he realizes what just happened.
"I just walked in on something didn't I?" Jack and I pull away for real now.
"How about I pick you up at 9? Meet me outside." Jack winks at me when he walks through the door to leave.
"It's a vibe." I wink back.
