°Miya's POV°
I was backed up against the corridor wall. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. Law came closer and closer with each step, but in my eyes he looked more and more like a demon with each step he took.
"D-don't come any closer." I tried to sound brave, but my stutter gave it away. I focused on something behind his shoulder, and as he turned around to see what it was, I pushed him aside and ran down the corridor.
Left. Right. Right. Left. Right. Left. Left. Left. Right. I took so many turns that I didn't even know where I was. The corridors looked the same wherever I turned, and soon I was lost.
I don't even have my chakram with me! I silently panicked, realising that it was left in my room.
I slowly continued, trying to get my way out of the maze of corridors. Soon I reached a large library and was overjoyed to see a librarian there dusting the ancient books.
"Um... do you know the way to the guest rooms?"
The librarian looked at you over his dark rimmed glasses, and slowly nodded his head. "You are the guest of honour, Lady Scarlet, right?"
You shuddered at the title he gave you. "Just Miya is fine."
"Down the corridor on the right, and all the way straight, Lady Scarlet." He said, then turned his attention back to his books.
I followed the instructions he gave me, and found myself back at the guest room. I heaved a sigh of relief, and opened the door, but stopped in my tracks.
"Law."

"What do you want." I said, voice as cold as ice. "Why are you here." It came out more of a statement.
"This is my palace, I can go wherever I want." He replied with a smirk.
I stood at the door, frozen in place, no way to comeback his statement.
"Miya ... give me a chance." His gruff voice startled the sh*t out of meu, but my fear quickly turned into anger.
"YOU TAKE OTHER PEOPLE'S SOULS! YOU KILL THEM!"
"Only the criminals on death sentence anyway and the dying. They ask me to put them out of their misery."
I looked at him skeptically. "Sure, like that makes it so much more justified."
"But...!" He replied in a gruff voice, like he was embarrassed about it.
"I don't believe you."
"Then come and see." He stretched out his hand towards me, and I looked at it, not trusting him. But without my consent, he grabbed my arm lightly and a glow surrounded both of us.
Both of us.
Law and Miya.
Together forever.
As the mist cleared, you heard gasps and shouts, then the thundering sounds as storms of people ran towards Law and I. I knew it. The people hate him. Now we're gonna get slaughtered.
"Your majesty! My daughter has been ill with high fever! Please help her!"
"Your majesty! My son has caught a virus and coughs blood! Help him first!"
"Your majesty... my... my... grandmother is sick and dying. She... she wants to just go now, peacefully." A young boy with puffy eyes half cried, half said, pulling on Law's shirt.
What is happening? Why is everyone acting like this?
Law picked the boy up into his arms and smiled at him. Smiled. "Alright, we'll go there first. Lead the way."
The crowds separated to let Law, the boy and I through. Upon reaching the boy's house, Law followed the boy to a small room. In there, there was a lady around 80, hacking and coughing.
"Are you sure about this?" Law asked her.
"Yes. I... it's so hard to breathe and I can't even move anymore. I don't want to be a burden."
The boy, tears in his eyes, cried. "You're not a burden, granny! Don't go!"
"Don't worry, child, he'll take care of me." Then she looked up to Law. "You will, right?" Law nodded.
Law made her close her eyes, and as she did, a faint glow surrounded her. It's magical, I thought, but then I realised what was happening. No, wait, he's still taking her life away! What am I thinking?
I gasped as the grandma sighed, a look of pure bliss on her face. As she smiled, Law took her soul.
She... was happy...
After Law finished, he looked up, but he seemed to have more energy. "Give her a proper burial," he told the boy who was now sobbing. The boy nodded as both of us walked out of the hut, and I couldn't resist a glance back to the grandma lying on the threadbare mattress and a sobbing boy kneeling beside her. However, my thoughts quickly vanished, since we were only to be surrounded by more people.
I followed Law around as he visited the villagers' houses, curing people and "putting them out of their misery". Turns out, he was also a miracle doctor, even without his magic.
When it was time to go back to the palace, this time I clasped his hand gently and willingly, as a sign of trust. I looked away, feeling the heat rise up my cheeks him, then felt the warmth of his magic, as the glow surrounded both of us.
I could get used to this.

(Yes it's not over hahaha)~Law's POV~
I walked down the steps towards the dungeons once I had said goodnight to Miya. Stopping in front of a cell, I smirked. "And how are you doing today?" I asked. All my prisoner did was to look away, bound in chains to the wall. Tch. He's so annoying. I thought, then I smirked. "She trusts me now," I said nonchalantly.
That seemed to get his attention. He banged on the iron bars of the cell. "DON'T YOU DARE DO ANYTHING TO HER!"
"I don't promise anything."
