Darkness: Zane~Chan Fanfic

Second Date

Zane had practiced what he was going to say in the mirror for ages.  Even though he had already gone on a date with Kawaii~Chan it was still difficult to ask.
  He walked up to Kawaii~Chan who was baking pancakes in the kitchen, "Hey Nana."
Kawaii~Chan looked over and saw Zane smiling at her, "Hi Zane~Kun! What's up?"
"I was um, I was wondering i-if you w-would like to go on another d-date with me?" Zane stammered.

Kawaii~Chan POV

Kawaii~Chan thought it was adorable how much Zane was blushing! Of course Kawaii~Chan said yes to the date! Zane~Kun showed Kawaii~Chan a flyer for a firework show later on tonight.  Kawaii~Chan is so excited that she can't stop squealing.

Zane POV

I was so relieved when she said yes.  I wonder why I was so nervous.  I can tell she's excited too, she is squealing like crazy.  I find it cute.

Narrator POV 

Little did they know that Ghost was listening to every word, and she was not happy.
As the sun started setting the two walked to the hill they were watching fireworks on.  Halfway up the hill Kawaii~Chan lost her footing and slipped.  Before she hit the ground Zane caught her just like he did at Love~Love Paradise.  It was a classic déjà vu moment.  The two blushed and stared deeply into each others eyes (or eye).  "T-Thanks Zane~Kun," Kawaii~Chan straightened up and swept a piece of hair out of her face.  The rest of the way up the hill Zane and Kawaii~Chan held hands.

Kawaii~Chan POV

Zane's hand locked around mine.  Inside my head I was fangirling like Kawaii~Chan's never fangirled before! His hand was cold yet it gave Kawaii~Chan a feeling of protection.  At the top of the hill we sat down on the grass with my hand on his. 
The firework show finally started as the sky got darker and it was romantic!

Zane POV

I felt something on my shoulder and when I turned I saw that it was Nana's head.  She looked so happy and peaceful.  I laid my head on hers and smiled.  About a minute later I heard a familiar voice.  Nana must have to because she jumped.  I just hoped it wasn't who I thought it would be...
