Zane's Origins

Garroth POV

I really hope Dad gets here soon because now Zane was floating in the air.  He also looked paler than usual.  I couldn't help but seeing flashbacks.  I was honestly a terrible brother.
It was around half an a hour since I made the call and Dad just got here.
"Dad, what took you so long?!" I looked up at Zane who was throwing potions at Michi and Ghost.
"I had to find it," he replied.

Narrator POV

Kawaii~Chan walked up to Garroth and his dad, "What's happening!? Is Zane OK?!" Garroth could hear her voice break as if she were about to cry.  Garroth nodded, "Oh Zane's just uh, throwing a tantrum. Yeah." Garte nodded in an agreement.
Aphmau and Aaron looked at Garroth with a puzzled look and Kawaii~Chan crossed her arms, "That isn't a tantrum.  Tell me, what's going on?"

Kawaii~Chan POV

I knew that I wasn't talking in third person but I didn't care.  I wanted to know what was happening to Zane and if he'd be alright.

Narrator POV

Garroth looked at his dad not knowing if he should tell the truth.  But Garroth didn't have to talk because Garte told the story...
"When the boys were younger Garroth liked to scare Zane and Vlyad a lot.  Zane hated it because he would always end up crying and not being able to sleep.  One night Zane was about eight, Garroth told him a story were if you were awake at 3:00Am and heard something whisper your name that it was going to eat you.  Since Zane was so scared he didn't go to bed.  Garroth thought it would be funny if he would whisper Zane's name.  When he did Zane screamed and ran for his life.  He raced out of his house and into the street.  He didn't see the car coming until it was close enough to touch.  But it was almost as if an invisible force field surrounded Zane and he luckily didn't get hurt.  A couple hours later we took him to one of my old friends to figure out how he didn't get hurt.  Some how Zane had been cursed and shared his body with a demon.  We talked to the demon and it told us that he could keep Zane safe but if he wasn't wanted he could reverse time and let Zane be hit and most likely killed.  We allowed him to stay but a few months later Zane started acting strange.  When I got hone from work I saw Zane floating with books and stuffed animals swirling around him.  He was pelting Garroth with the books and toys.  Smoke was coming from his eyes which were black and around his hands and feet.  No doubt that the demon had something to do with this.  I immediately called my friend who had something that might work.  He came over with a sapphire ball in his hands and sucked up the demon.  We couldn't get it all though.  So some still was inside of him, waiting to be strong enough to finally break free."
Kawaii~Chan looked at the sapphire ball Garte brought, "Will it hurt him?"
Garroth shook his head, " No, but he will be extremely weak for a couple weeks."
Kawaii~Chan could see the pain in his eyes, she knew he was lying.  But as long as they could save Zane from the demon, she would be OK.
