Real Zane POV
Why am I always in these situations?
"What'd you say Zane? Are you willing to do it?" He looked at me with a smug look on his face. Did I really have any other choice?
"F-Fine. But aft-ER I d-do it, you haVE to lea-ve all my fri-ends and f-fam-ILY alone," it pained me to say this, not only because I had to do something horrible but also because I was in so, much pain.
He snapped his figures again and the physical pain went away.
"So how do I even retrieve one of these soul crystals?" I wasn't about to be left in the dark again, even though I was alone in the dark void.
"Think of a someone in your family, and draw this symbol with your blood on the ground ( § ). You will be teleported into their mind. Once you get the soul crystal you will appear back here. You must smash the crystal with me watching or else I won't let you leave," the demon explained.
I look at myself and see all the blood from my injuries. I put my finger in some blood on my hand and draw the symbol.
I'm sorry Aph, but you're family. I can't bare to do it to anyone else.
Kawaii~Chan POV
"Garroth!" I try to pull away from the tight grasp of what I so stupidly thought was Zane.
He came to my aid and tried to pull the fake Zane away.
"Why is he so strong!!!" Garroth gritted his teeth.
"I hope you realize that won't work right?" Zach looked at us and his eyes were filled with boredom.
"NOT RIGHT NOW ZACH!!!" Garroth and I both yelled at the top of our lungs.
I felt the grip tighten and look up at Zane's face. His eye. His iris. His iris was completely black. I cried out. This couldn't be happening! Did this mean that the demon had full control over his body?! Did Zane, did he give up?

A/N Hey Shadow Fans!!! I know I haven't updated this in awhile but here ya go! What do you guys think will happen in the next chapter? We are so close to finishing this story so I'll need to make a new story after...
Just to let you know, between now and Halloween, I probably won't update this book until I'm done writing the fanfic that I'm trying to get out on Halloween. That book is going to be a lot shorter because I don't have that much time, and because I want it to be a short story on Halloween.
