Darkness: Zane~Chan Fanfic

Unexpected Parters

Kawaii~Chan POV

Kawaii~Chan can't believe her eyes.  How did she get here?! Why is she here?! Is she going to break up Zane~Kun and Kawaii~Chan, even though we aren't official?!

Narrator POV

"Nya.  Hey Kawaii~Chan, I've never seen you so into a guy.  I mean it was obvious that you only fell for looks and he doesn't seem to have that." Michi looked at Zane in disgust, "But I have a job to do so, GUARDS!!!" With the snap of Michi's fingers two men grabbed Kawaii~Chan as she screamed at the top of her lungs, "LET KAWAII~CHAN GO!!"
"Kawaii~Chan! Let her go!" Zane yelled, walked up to the men and looked up. 
The guards were like giants and didn't seem to flinch when Zane kicked their legs.
"Oh Zane.  If you get to close or step out of line I won't hesitate to throw this death potion at your beloved Meifwa." Michi gripped a black potion in her hand. 
Zane slowly backed away so Kawaii~Chan wouldn't get hurt.  But that's when Michi threw a blue potion at her frenemy.  As it made contact with Kawaii~Chan's arm she got a couple cuts from the glass.  She slowly drifted off to a deep sleep that could only be reversed by an awakening potion.  Her head hung low and her eyes slowly closed.
"NANA!!!" Zane yelled.  Tears rolled down his cheeks and soaked into the ground.

Zane POV

My heart broke when I saw Nana get hit by the potion.  I wanted to go and help her but I was frozen in fear of her getting hurt. That's when I heard a different voice coming from behind me.  I turned to see a woman with dark brown hair and forest green eyes.  But the voice haunted me.
"Hello Zane! I see you've met my partner," Ghost exclaimed.
Ghost ran up and gave me a hug for an uncomfortably long time.  I shivered in fear that Ghost would try and win me over.
Then it hit me, Michi and Ghost were partners. 

Narrator POV

"So Zane, how about a date?!" Ghost battered her eyes.
"Are you insane?! You hire people to use Kawaii~Chan as your way to get to me? I would never date you!"
Ghost tried to protest but Zane wouldn't listen, "Fine then, Michi, guards, we are leaving," Ghost threw a potion down and everyone disappeared besides Zane. 
Aphmau, Aaron and Garroth all raced to Zane, who was staring off into the night.
"We heard you and Kawaii~Chan scream.  Are you guys OK?" Aphmau panted.
"Yeah we came up here as soon as we could," Garroth looked around for a second, "Zane where's Kawaii~Chan? What happened?"
