Overwatch - Chronos (Tracer x Reader)

Author's Note

So here we are, the moment you've all been looking forward to, the cringe filled author's note at the end! You all knew it was coming. So, I've got a few things to say and then I'll answer a couple of questions that I either have a feeling may come up or that I've already been asked.

First things first, I'd like to say a massive thank you to anyone and everyone who read this book, whether it was a single line or every chapter, every single read is a show of support and I'm amazed how many of you have seemingly enjoyed something that I have written. I write for the fun of it and as a hobby but it has to be said that it is much more enjoyable to know that there are people reading your work and finding pleasure in it. That being said, I do hope everyone did enjoy the book and I hope you were pleased with the ending, I tried to make it a happy one and make it so that all loose ends were tied up.

I'd like to give a special thankyou to all of you who commented as well. To actually reach out and say something about my writing shows that you guys really are reading it and getting engrossed in it which is a really nice thing to realise. Over the course of this book, I've received a number of comments such as; nice and heartfelt compliments, helpful and constructive criticisms and generally just funny jokes that made me laugh when I read them. You guys have inspired me and as a result contributed to this book in a way. You're all heroes in my eyes, certainly worthy of joining the ranks of Overwatch! And to those who were there since the beginning, thank you so much for putting up with the months of inactivity, I hope it was worth it in the end.

I'm not going to mention any specific people, partly because I still don't know how to tag people XD but also because I think everybody who has read this book; whether you've read, voted, commented or all three, are all absolutely brilliant and you all have my sincere thanks.

Now, there are a couple of questions that I have been asked and also a couple that I have a feeling some people might wonder about so I thought I'd clear all that up here. Basically I'm just going to list the questions and give the answers underneath.

Q: Will there be a sequel?

A: The most obvious question at the end of a book. I hate to disappoint but I am almost certainly not going to write a sequel to this book. Those who have read the epilogue will know that I go quite far into the future to finish telling Y/N's story and I'd like to think I wrapped it up quite nicely. The ending was happy and honestly I think a sequel may spoil this book. In short, it is highly doubtful that there will be a sequel.

Q: Do I take requests?

A: I am always happy to listen to requests and take them all seriously. However, I am the kind of writer who needs inspiration and motivation to work on a project, thus the several month gap with this particular book. I have already had a few requests, such as a SombraxReader, but I've just finished this book and I'm not sure what will come next. I will listen to any requests but cannot say that any of them will actually get made, sorry.

Q: Will my next project be Overwatch related?

A: Not a clue! I'm probably going to take a break from writing for a little while, like I said you can leave requests but I don't know what the next project will be. I have no idea, it'll all come down to what's inspiring me at the time.

And with that, the author's note, and consequently the book, is at an end. Providing I've done it right XD I've left a link to a brilliant Overwatch instrumental in this chapter which I like to think of as a sort of theme for this project. Of course I have not made it, all rights go to the respective composer, but I think it suits the end of this book well.
