"Josh?" I call out as I open his front door. I strained my ears, waiting for a response. I heard a grunt, making me jog to the living room. I tried my hardest to contain my giggles as I noticed Josh sprawled half on the couch and half on the floor.

"I fell off," he slurs after hearing a quiet, choked chuckle escape my lips.

"Come on," I sigh, grabbing underneath his arms to hoist him onto the couch. "Is this where you're gonna be?" I ask him as he cuddles into the cushions.

"Yeah," he hums.

"You don't wanna go to your bedroom?" I question to reassure his wishes.

"Wait," he mutters, flipping onto his back. "I wanna go to my bed." I nod, lifting him up again. I throw his arm over my shoulder and lead him to the corridor that I assumed held the rooms.

"Which ones yours?" I question as there's two shut doors, another opened but it was the bathroom.

"Let go of me," he groans as he pushes himself off of me. I watch very worriedly from the sidelines as he stumbles to one of the doors. He shoves it open, revealing a very tidy room with a bed pushed in the corner.

Pulling me from my observation, I gasped as I noticed Josh laying on the floor.

"I fucking hate having two left feet," he moans as I lift him up once more. I chuckle as I settle him under the duvet, sliding his sheets up to his chin. He tugs them closer, smiling softly. My heart stopped, my face reddening as I realized how pathetic I was.

"Want some water?" I ask gently.

"Fuck no," he groans.

I roll my eyes, patting where I thought his thigh was. "I'll get you some," I reply, searching for his kitchen. I grab a cup from the cabinet I looked at last and fill it with water, adding a couple ice cubes.

I walk back to Josh's room, handing him the glass after helping him sit up. He reluctantly sips on it, then ends up chugging the rest.

"Have you eaten?" I ask as I straighten out his duvet as the crinkles bothered me heavily.

"Like food?" he questions. I raise my eyebrows in confusion.

"What else would you have eaten?" I quiz.

"Di-"

"Okay, you can stop right there," I exclaim as I cover his mouth with my hand. He glances at my hand, my face heating up. I retract my hand as quick as I could and give a guilty smile.

"I hav-haven't eaten any food today," he hiccups, curling into his sheets.

"I'll make you something," I offer.

"Peanut butter sandwich," he sings as he sinks into the mattress.

"I'll make two and add some crisps on the side," I reply.

"Holy fuck, yes," Josh moans. I chuckle, walking off to make his sandwich.

As soon as I've set the plate that held his meal on his lap, he looks up at me with a somewhat serious face.

"Why'd you pat my dick earlier, Simon?" he asks. I choke on my saliva, coughing until I could breathe again.

"I'm gonna leave," I tell him after I've recovered. "Need anything?"

"Can you stay here?" he pleas, looking and sounding adorable doing so. "I don't want to be alone."

"Sure," I sigh, smiling at him. He smiles back, patting the spot beside him on his bed. I sit in said spot, twiddling my thumbs.

"You can turn on the telly," Josh says after biting into his first sandwich.

"Where's the remote?" I ask as I glance around. Josh reaches over, almost falling off the bed in the process, and hands me the remote from his bedside table.

"Thanks for catching me," Josh giggles as he takes another bite.

"Not a problem," I reply as I turn on the TV.
