"Where did Calum go?" I asked Allison as we were in IKEA. Calum said we were going to hang out and he leaves us here in IKEA. We only came here because Allison and I got bored shopping for clothes and because Calum said he wanted to show us something in here. It's a furniture store, what the hell would he show us in here?

"Tara!" I turned around and seen Calum walking towards Allison and I while we were sitting on one of the soft couches.

"Where the hell did you go?" I asked.

"I had a small errand to do." He said, sitting next to me and putting his head in my lap.

"A small errand? You couldn't tell us that before you left?" I questioned, playing with his hair to which he groaned and slapped my hand away because I was "messing it up" or so he says.

"Sorry, I sort of forgot about you guys for that small second." He said, fixing his beanie.

"Well thanks a lot Thomas." I mumbled, pushing him off me.

He caught himself and looked up at me, "Sorry." He pouted.

"Look he's begging, someone take a picture." Allison laughed.

"Shut up Alli." Calum said, getting up and sitting next to me.

"What are we doing here Cal?" I asked, taking his beanie off his head and putting it on mine.

"I have a surprise for you, but you have to find it." He smirked, standing up and pulling me up with him. "So go find it silly." He pushed me forward.

"What am I even looking for?" I asked, turning around and looking at him.

"You'll like it." He smiled.

"Where the hell am I suppose to look first?"

"Pick anywhere, you have a whole store Tara."

I groaned and walked to the bed section.

"Calum." I whined, I looked all around this store and there's nothing.

"Tara." He mimicked to which I slapped his arm.

"What am I suppose to be looking for? It's been 30 minutes and I found nothing."

"You aren't looking good enough, did you ever just turn around and see it?" He asked.

"Turn around and look, I looked around this whole damn store." I said.

"No literally, turn around Tara. It's legit right behind you." He said, grabbing my shoulders and forcing me to turn around.

"You know if it's something stupid, I swear I'm-" I cut myself off when I turned my head and seen Ethan standing there.

"I'm something stupid? Ouch that hurts." Ethan said, placing a hand over his heart.

"Ethan." I smiled, walking forward and wrapping my arms around his neck, hugging him.

"Hi Tara." He said, hugging me back. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." I mumbled. "Wait." I pulled back and looked at him, "How did you get here?"

He pointed to Calum, "Your best friend Calum here got me, he called me before I left Colorado and said he wanted to do this for you."

I turned to Calum, "How did you get his number?"

"Well you were at Alli's house and she knows the password to your phone so I asked her to get his number for me while you were sleeping." Calum said.

"Fricken Allison." I said.

"Sorry but hey, Ethan's here." She laughed.

"Yeah he is, so I guess I should formally introduce all of you." I said. "Well, Ethan this is my best friends Calum and Allison." I said, gesturing to them both. "And this is Ethan, my...college friend."

"Nice to meet you guys, but if you don't mind, can I steal Tara away from you guys for the rest of the day?" Ethan asked.

I looked at him confusingly and then seen Alli and Calum smirk.

"You can have her, just drop her off at her house before 5:30 because she has Thanksgiving dinner with her family." Allison said.

"But my stu-" I started but she cut me off.

"Calum can drop off your stuff at your house." She said.

"Yeah I'll bring it, can say hi to your mom. But go ahead, Ethan. She's free." Calum said.

"Okay looks like I am free." I said, with a small smile.

"Great." Ethan smiled.

I walked up to Alli and hugged her goodbye as she whispered, "Call me later with details and you better tell me all of it."

I laughed and nodded, walking to Calum and hugging him, "Thanks Calum."

"You're welcome. I'll call you later." He said, kissing me on the forehead.

I nodded and smiled, walking to Ethan and linking arms with him. "Lead the way." I chuckled.

"So by the looks of that hug, I'm guess you talked to him?" Ethan asked as we walked through the park.

"Yeah I did, he explained himself and told me about his girlfriend while I told him about you." I said, kicking a pebble on the sidewalk.

"Is his girlfriend nice?"

"Well I first met her when I bumped into her at the airport but I didn't officially meet her till the other day when Calum introduced us." I confirmed.

"I see." He said.

After awhile it was silence, we were just walking around the park and looking at the kids running around playing with each other.

"Hey Tara?" He asked.

I turned and looked at him, "Hmm?"

"You know I missed you, yeah?" He questioned, stopping and looking at me.

"Yeah." I answered, stopping and looking at him a bit confused.

"No, like I really really missed you." He said again.

"I know you did, I missed you too."

He shook his head and took a step forward, a few inches away from me, "No, I really missed you. It was extremely boring without you. I felt lost and had nothing to do with myself." He said, looking into my eyes.

My heart started to beat a little faster, he was pretty close, to the point where I could feel his breath hitting my face and I could feel his chest rising up and down. I swallowed hard and stared at him for awhile.

"Why didn't you call me earlier in the week?" I asked.

"I didn't want to ruin your vacation back home." He answered.

"You wouldn't have, but if you missed me so much, why are we just standing here discussing how much you missed me?"

"Right, but I'm done with discussing it. I just really badly want to do something." He said, looking at me still.

"What do you want to do?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I really want to kiss you right now." He said, biting his lip.

I swallowed hard again and put what he said through my thinking process, did he just say he wanted to kiss me? Yes he did. Holy.

I bit my lip and kept eye contact with him, "Then kiss me."

He smiled and leaned forward, connecting our lips together as my arms soon found his neck while his found my waist.

I know how I stopped right there but hey, what the hell. I sort of rushed this but who cares, I'll go back and fix it later lol.
