"Thanks for letting me stay over." I said, laying on her bed and tossing my bag on the floor. I reached Allison's house about 3 minutes ago and I was so happy to be out of my house. It's also good that Allison and I can hang out. We haven't seen each other since the day I left, which was a week before she left.

"No problem, I'd want to leave too." She said, laying next to me.

"I know, I mean, yuck. I don't know why he has to stay there with us."

"I know. So dumb, eww, but remember that time we walked pass her room and he was on her. They said they were 'wrestling'."

I shook my head and made a disgust face, "Don't remind me, that was just so gross."

She shook her head and made a gagging sound. "Okay, let's talk about something else before I puke."

I nodded, I turned on my back and stared up at the ceiling, "How's college?"

"It's good, yours?" She asked, laying next to me and staring up at the ceiling as well.

"It's great." I smiled at the thought of Ethan. Just his name could make me smile, it's amazing.

"I see that smile, who is he? You haven't told me yet. Is he hot? What's his name? How old is he? Is he single? Did you guys hang out?" She said, bombarding me with questions.

"Shut up Alli." I laughed, sitting up and crossing my legs.

"Okay okay, tell me though." She turned on her stomach and faced me.

"His names Ethan, he's 19, he's single, yes we hung out and yes he's good looking."

"Ethan, hmm, sounds like a hot guy name."

I hit her with the pillow which caused her to laugh. "What? It does." She laughed.

"He's really cool, you'd probably like him." I said, putting the pillow in my lap.

"How long have you guys been talking?"

"For about a few weeks now, we actually hung out the other day because he said I was going to be gone for a week and he wanted to hang out before I left." I smiled at the memory.

"Oh my gosh! You like him!" She exclaimed, hitting my on my arm.

"No...yeah...maybe." I said laughing. Ethan is cool and all, he's good looking but I don't know if we would click that way. Plus, I don't even think he thinks of me that way, probably just his friend. Yes, I have thought of me and him going out but I doubt it'll happen.

"Tara Collins, you like him and you cannot lie to me." She said, sitting up on her knees and looking me in the eyes.

"Okay, I do." I admitted, hitting her with the pillow after.

It was 4:30 p.m. and we were bored, we decided to go for a walk to our high school to see if they made any changes. As we were walking, she kept asking me about Ethan.

"Winter break is coming up soon, maybe I can go to your school and meet him." She said as we walked to the school.

"Yeah, maybe. I'm not planning on coming home during winter break that's why." I said, kicking a rock.

"Same, so maybe I can spend it with you and your friend." She said, nudging me.

"Oh shut up Alli and yeah that sounds cool."

We reached the school and we were hit with memories. So many things happened in this one location, it's amazing how fast it all went by. We went towards our old lockers and tried to open them, I know, we're pretty weird. We moved onto old classes we had and talked about all the teachers and stupid things we did. It was just walking around the campus and going to our old hang out spot, we laughed as we remembered the things that happened there.

Lastly, we went to the field we had. As we were walking down from the locker rooms, we noticed someone on the field.

"Who's on the field?" I asked, looking at the figure.

"Not sure, probably some kid that's practicing." Alli said as she walked down the stairs and sat in the stands.

"Do you remember when there was cheer and we used to mimic them?" She asked.

I laughed at the memory, "Yeah, I do. You almost fell over that guy trying to do a toe touch." I laughed even harder.

"Okay that was funny, I actually hit that girl in the face."

"You did, she was so mad at you."

"Oh wells, she was in my way." She laughed and stood up, jumping and doing crazy stuff.

I laughed at her actions and shook my head, "You're going to sprain your ankle again!" I shouted to her.

"No I won't! Don't say that!" She shouted back.

It was already 6 p.m. and we were both laying down on the stands, talking about how her and Luke were.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He went to Sydney, Australia I think."

"Australia!" I exclaimed, sitting up and looking down at her.

She nodded and sat up, " Yeah, he went to go visit a few of his friends and family."

"Wow."

"Yeah." I seen her look at the field and I followed her actions, "That kid is still here."

"Yeah, I wonder who it is." I wondered out loud.

"Well let's go find out." She stood up and started walking down.

"Alli, wait up." I followed her down.

We reached the field and we were making our way to where the kid was, we assumed it was a boy because what kind of girl would be here. As we got closer, I started to see two figures.

"Wait." I stopped, causing Allison to stop with me.

"What Tara?" She asked, turning towards me.

"There's someone with him. There's two people."

She turned around and looked, "You're right, well let's just go then."

I nodded and we both kept walking in the direction of the two people, but was going to turn right towards the gate till someone called my name.

"Tara!" The voice called. I looked at Allison who looked at me, we both turned around to see a figure running towards us.

"Who the hell is this?" Allison asked.

"I have no cl-" As the figure got closer, I seen who it was, "Calum!" I shouted and ran towards him, he caught me in a hug.

"Holy shit Tara, I missed you so much." He said as he twirled me around.

I laughed and looked at him as he put me down, "I missed you too. How have you been?"

"Good, but-" He cut himself off by hugging me again.

I hugged him back, "Cal, you're hugging me like you haven't seen me in years."

"It's been almost a year Tara." He said, then let me go and ran to which I guess was Allison.

"Holy shit Cal, easy on the hug." She said which caused him to laugh.

"Hey Tar, I want you to meet someone, you to Alli." He practically dragged us to the middle of the field. When we reached, Allison and I seen the back of a girl.

"Guys, this is my girlfriend Haley." Calum said, tapping the girl on the shoulder. She turned around and smiled at him then looked at us, my mouth dropped when I seen her.

She was the girl I bumped into at the airport...
