Ethan Dolan♥ Just Friends

Is it bad that I have a crush on my bestfriend? Ethan and I have been bestfriends since forever. But a few months ago my feelings have developed for him and I don't know how to stop. I want to stop liking him like that because if he finds out I do not want to ruin our relationship since it's so strong. I also don't want to stop liking him because he's so cute, kind, caring, beautiful, just everything every girl could look for in a girl especially personality wise. Everytime I see him I get butterflies and my heart beats faster than ever and this has never happened to me with my ex's. The only people that knows I like Ethan are my other two bestfriends Grayson and Kate.

Every Friday night Ethan, Grayson and Kate come over for a few hours and we watch movies and order food. I heard Ethan's car pull in the drive way and Grayson ran into my house. "Y/n don't say or do anything mad or cry" "What Grayson?". I now know why he said that. After Kate had walked in, Ethan walked in after her holding hands with a girl. "Hey y/n sorry I didn't tell you sooner but I invited my new girlfriend over if you don't mind". I just stood there with my mouth open. "Y/n?" "Oh y-yeah no that's perfectly fine, I'm y/n" "Hi I'm Meredith". She was so pretty. She seemed like a model.

Throughout the night it has been a bit more quiet than usual. Ethan was kissing, laughing, cuddling with his new girlfriend that he never told me about. Grayson and Kate kept staring at me. I got a text off Grayson

"U ok?"

"Fine"

"Ur lying"

"No I'm not"

"Yes u r I know when ur lying and it looks like ur about to cry"

I stood up out of my chair and ran upstairs to my room. I slammed my door and sat at the end of my bed crying. Grayson knocked on the door and came in. He didn't say anything, he just sat down beside me and hugged me rubbing my back. Grayson was like a brother to me I loved him so much but obviously as a brother. 

After a few minutes we walked downstairs and Ethan was still concentrated on Meredith not asking what was wrong with me but I wasn't going to tell him. They all were ready to go home at 12. "You be okay?" Grayson asked "Yea I'll be grand Thanks Gray". We all said our good byes and I went upstairs and cried myself to sleep. 

Ethan and I have been distanced lately but it was because of me mostly. Ethan still asked me over to his house and to go out, he didn't abandon me just because he had a girlfriend but I made an excuse most of the time. I was in his house and it was just Ethan and I, Meredith was on her way over though. I wasn't the same, I wasn't as happy or chatty around Ethan.

 "Y/n what's wrong you've been a bit distanced and not as chatty since I've been dating Meredith" "What Ethan? no I'm fine haha I don't know why you're saying that" "I'm saying it because it's true, are you not happy for me or something?" "Are you serious Ethan? Of course I'm happy for you" "Then why are you ignoring me lately" "I haven't" "Yes you have" "No I haven't" "Yes you have" "JUST STOP ETHAN" "What? why are you snapping?" "I-i'm sorry it's nothing just leave it" "No I won't leave, I'm not letting my bestfriend leave until she tells me what's wrong" "That's the problem" "What is?" "The word bestfriend" "Mmmm I still don't know what you mean" "OH MY GOD ETHAN I LIKE YOU AND NOT AS A FRIEND I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU HAVEN'T COPT THAT AND I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO RUIN OUR FRIENDSHIP AND THEN YOU SHOWED UP WITH MEREDITH AND UGHHH" "Y-you like me?" "Jesus Ethan yes I just said that"

I was stressed, I can't believe I just told him how I felt. "Y/n I'm sorry but I only see you as a friend and I lo-" "Yes Ethan I know I'm not clueless". We sat there in silence until Meredith came in. "Hey E baby hey y/n" "Hey" i said quietly. "I think you should go y/n" Ethan said looking down. I stared at him in shock but I stood up and said bye. 

I walked out and cried. I don't know if I lost my bestfriend or not and I don't want that to happen. I went home and cried, cried and cried. Grayson came over and comforted me. I asked him if Ethan's not talking to me and he said no and that Ethan just needs time to think.
