Friends with benefits {E} part 3

It's been 4 months since I've left New Jersey and thankfully the twins and I have been in contact everyday, texting, snapchat and FaceTime. Even Ethan has been in contact and we've been as close as ever. We talked about everything and we were on face time when we were talking and we both started crying. I miss them like mad. I still have feelings for Ethan obviously but thank fuck him and Meredith are over. He said that he was just confused and he didn't know what he wanted.

Since I was off school for a few weeks I've decided that I'd surprise the twins. My bags were packed and I headed to the airport. It took hours to get there since I came from Ireland to America. I finally arrived. I met up with Cameron at the airport.
"Hey cam". "Hey y/n I've missed you". "I've missed you too". We hugged each other. "The twins have missed you a lot". "Well I've missed them a lot too like mad". We got into the car and started driving for an hour trip.

"So I heard about the argument between you and Ethan". "How did you find out?" "Grayson told me because after when Ethan saw your letter he wasn't himself, he was very down and barely spoke to anyone, he watched every single video tape and looked at every picture of you all from when you were little". "Really?!" "Yep and me and Grayson have been teasing him a lot saying that he likes you and don't even deny it because it's quite obvious he was even crying in his sleep one night and was crying your name. 'Y/n don't leave please I'm so sorry I don't like Meredith I like youuu." We both started laughing. "And you like him so I mean hopefully he'll say something to you". I said nothing and put my head down smiling like crazy while playing with my fingers. For the rest of the ride we were just catching up, laughing and listening to music.

We pulled up to their house and we got out. Cameron walked in first and I snuck in behind her. "I'm home from town". She called. "Hi" everyone called back. We walked into the kitchen and Sean and Lisa were sitting at the table.

"Y/n hi how are you?" Lisa jumped up from her seat and gave me a hug. "I'm good and you?" "We're good, so anyways the twins are upstairs and Ethan has been kind of down lately." "Yeah cam told me so I'm going to try and talk to him." "Please we've tried but no luck"." I'll go up to him now."

I leave the kitchen and head upstairs. I decide to knock on Grayson's door. "Come in". I open the door slightly and popped my head around. "Guess whooo". "Oh my god y/n". He jumped up and wrapped his arms around me. "What are you doing here?" "To see you and Ethan obviously haha I'm off for a few weeks so". "I can't believe it haha I've missed you so much". "I've missed you too." "Did cam tell you about Ethan?" "Yep so I think I'll go into him now". "Please he needs it".

I leave Grayson's room and head to Ethan's. I take a deep breath before knocking. I knock and there's no reply. I open the door and I see Ethan with his back facing the door. "Go away!" "And why would I do that?" I say. His head shoots around. "Y/n! Oh my shit!" He leaps onto me and snuggles his head into my neck. He starts to cry. "I've missed you so much and I am so sorry for the argument we had before you left." "It's okay it was nothing and I'm sorry for not telling you in person because Cameron told me how you were." "She did?"yeah". "Can we go out for a walk and talk a bit more?" "Yeah yes of course". We run downstairs and head out. "We're going out" Ethan shouts.

The sun is setting and the stars are starting to show. We walk in silence on our way to the local park. We get to the park and we sit on the swings.

"I've missed you so fucking much like you don't understand. When I saw the letter you left me my heart broke, I felt sick and weak. I didn't know what to do. I got so angry and I punched a wall in my room." He showed me the cast on his hand. "And I blocked people out and I was hoping that you would walk into my house and be with me for the rest of our lives and I know that sounds so weird and cringe but it's true. I broke up with Meredith because I realised that I like you.... a lot. I've like you for ages but I just thought it was a simple crush and nothing big so I tried to ignore it but I love you y/n I really do and to be honest I don't know wh-". I cut Ethan off by kissing him. "I love you too Ethan". We stared at each other for a few seconds. "Will you be my girlf-". "YES!!!!" Ethan sat there in shock but in a good way. He started laughing and a big smile grew onto his face. I tackled him to the ground and we just lauds there cuddling. "I love you". "I love you too".
After a few hours we decided to go back to his house. We walk in and everyone was saying they were worried about us. We just stood there hand in hand until Grayson noticed. "Ayeeeee look at the love birds". Everyone was happy for us and they all said that they knew we'd get together. "Ha one day your kids will ask how you starts dating but you can't tell them you started as friends with benefits Hahahaha." Grayson hadn't realised what he had said until me and Ethan gave him a death look. Everyone looked at us but they started laughing so we started laughing too.
