After lunch Abby and Gianna take Alec and I back to the studio. I thank her for lunch and promise to repay her somehow. "You don't have to sweetheart, your company was payment enough." Abby says sweetly. I'm in shock I thought she was mean to everyone. "Am I gonna stays with yous Misses Abby?" Alec asks curiously. "Yeah your gonna stay with us until the finals sweetheart." Gianna answers for Abby. Alec smiles before giving Abby a hug. Abby smiles in return and picks him up.
I dismiss myself to get changed for my solo. Once I get into the waiting room I grab my dance bag and change into my costume. Unlike the other girls my costume is pretty but simplistic to draw their eyes to my dancing rather than my clothes. Once I'm done I go back into the audition room. "You'll be doing your auditions by number so Trinity you will go last and Jessica you will go first." We nod and those who aren't performing, including myself, go back into the waiting room.
Once it's my turn I grab my music and head into the audition room. I hand Gianna my music and go into my starting position.
When I'm finished I stand up and look at Abby expectantly. Both Abby and Gianna look astonished and then suddenly they start clapping. "Did you choreograph that yourself?" Gianna asks. "With a little help yes." I reply smiling. "That was fabulous and it really showed off your strengths." Gianna says smiling. "Please ask the other finalists to come here please." Abby instructs. I nod before relaying the message to the other five.
"Trinity we have decided to go with you." Abby says giving me a hug. "Girls we will call you if we ever need another member or a fill thank you for coming." Gianna informs the other girls. They nod before walking out. "I knews you couws (could) dos it my Twinidy." Alec says before giving me a hug. I smile at him before putting him on my hip. He gives me a big smile and kisses my cheek. "Thank you for choosing me, I know we'll love the ALDC." I say to Abby and Gianna.
"As long as you work hard and don't cause any trouble you can stay as long as you want." Gianna says. "When your mother is on business trips you and Alec will be staying with me in my hotel." Abby says. We say our good byes and Alec gives kisses before we take our leave. After I text our mother I wait outside with our things for her car to arrive. My mom pulls up and I put Alec in his car seat and sit in the back with him. She pulls off without saying a word causing me to sigh again. I put on a brave face and entertain Alec for the rest of the ride.
When we get home it takes our mother about an hour to get off the phone. "What do you guys want for dinner?" she asks when she's finally done. "I wants Chi momma. Can we has Chi?" Alec asks. Our mother looks at me confused. "He means Chinese food." I say laughing. She smiles before ordering Chinese food. "How did the audition go?" she asks me. I'm disappointed that she didn't ask me immediately, it's as if she just now remembered. "Misses Abby says that my Twinidy won." Alec says. My mom smiles before once again going on the phone, causing me to look down in disappointment.
When the delivery guy gets here I grab the money and pay, since my mother is still on the phone. I give her the bag with her order than take Alec into the kitchen. I sit him in a chair and then proceed to fix our plates. "Dos you thinks momma is gonna stays when we goes with Misses Abby?" Alec asks curiously. "I think she'll stay as long as she can." I say sugar coating the answer, even though I know she'll stay for the first competition then go off to do who knows what. He nods happily before making grabby hands at me.
I laugh at him before picking him up and sitting down with him on my lap. "Once your done eating I'll run you a bubble bath and we'll brush our teeth okay?" I say in question form. He nods before saying,"As long as I can sleep in your room tonight my Twinidy." "Why do you wanna sleep in my room?" I ask him surprised. I know he has separation anxiety but he's never wanted to sleep in my room before. "I just wove you ands don't wanna loses you." he says starting to cry. I hug him and comfort him until he stops.
"You'll never lose me, it's Trinity and Alec together forever...." "We is Linda and Heathew..." "Best Friends!" we say together. He giggles at our silliness before finally eating his food. I sigh in relief that he's not upset anymore and do the same. Once we're finished I pick up Alec and go upstairs.
Once we're in the bathroom attached to his room I set him down. "Go get your bear towel and your night time pull up." I tell him. He gives me a hug before quickly toddling away. I sigh, this should be our mother doing this but instead I'm raising a one year old. I run his bath before putting in his bubbles. Soon I get hugged from behind by small arms. I laugh before helping him get undressed and into the tub.
Once I'm done bathing him and he's done playing with his bath tub toys I drain the water and put him in his bear towel. After I put him in his pull up and pick him up and sit him on the sink counter. "Bwushy time!" Alec says excitedly. I just smile at him before helping him brush his teeth before brushing mine. When we're done I go into Alec's room and dress him in his tiger onesie. After I take him into my room and sit on my bed.
He playfully roars at me causing me to laugh. "Cans you sing mes a song my Twinidy?" he asks. I nod knowing it's the only way he'll fall asleep. I cradle him like a baby and begin to rock him back and forth while singing.
Once I'm finished I see that he's asleep. I smile down at him before tucking him into bed. Once I'm sure he's fine I go into my bathroom and take a shower and wash my hair. When I get out I wrap myself in my robe before blow drying my hair and brushing my teeth. I walk out of the bathroom and go into my walk in closet. Stripping I put on my unicorn onesie, don't judge me, and climb into bed beside Alec.
As if he could sense my presence Alec rolls over and cuddles into my side clutching at my onesie with a death grip. I give him a kiss on his forehead before slowly falling asleep.
