Tristan's Outfit
When I wake up Alec is still gripping my onesie causing me to smile at his cuteness. I sit up trying not to wake him but he whines and practically latches onto me. I sigh before gently shaking him, he opens his eyes for a second before settling into a comfortable position on my lap before going back to sleep. "You gotta let go Alec, I need to get dressed and you need to get dressed." I tell him softly. He whines before slowly rolling off of me and going back to sleep. I roll my eyes at his laziness before getting ready for the day.
Once I'm dressed and have my dance bag and Alec's bag packed I go back into my room. Alec still lays asleep on my bed. I walk over to him and shake him gently until he wakes up. "It's time to get ready so we can see Ms. Abby and Gianna." I tell him. Like a switch is flicked he sits up straight, I know that he's starting to grow attached and I hope we don't leave the ALDC anytime soon. For his sake and for mine. "I weally gets too sees them?" he asks in disbelief. I smile sadly and nod at him, causing him to squeal in excitement.
I laugh before waiting for him to calm down. After a few seconds he's done and I carry him to my bathroom. I give him his toothbrush and help him brush his teeth while brushing mine. Once we're done I change him and then help him into his outfit.
"Look at you, you look snazzy." I say winking playfully. He giggles before giving me a huge hug in thanks. I check the time and gasp. "We're running out of time so we'll eat on the way." I tell him before quickly gathering our things and rushing out the door. I put Alec in his car seat and see that my moms already in the car. I sit in the back with him before giving him a pop tart I grabbed on the way. He smile at me before we pull off eating our pop tarts.
When we get to the studio no one is there causing me to sigh in relief. We had to get to the studio early so we could sign contracts and be told how things work with production. Once we go inside I change into my dance wear.
We walk into the office where we're greeted by the production and they start telling his how things are run. When that's done they tell us to sign contracts stating we are allowed be on the show in and outside of the studio. Once we're finally finished the Elite team members have showed up. "You'll hear Abby say something like we have a guest joining us this week and then you'll walk into pyramid." one of the employees say. I nod before scooping up Alec and walking out of the office.
"This week we have a new dancer joining us for competition." Abby states. I take that as my cue and walk in carrying Alec with our mother behind us. "Misses Abby! GiGi!" Alec squeals in excitement. Abby laughs before taking Alec from me, causing him to immediately tell her how much he's missed them. Once Alec is done Gianna takes him from Abby and tells me to introduce myself. "My names Trinity Anderson and this is my mom Anastasia and my little brother Alec. He has to stay at the studio with me because he has separation anxiety, I hope you don't mind." I say to everyone. "Of course we don't sweetie, we would never do that to a child." Holly says.
I smile before getting in line with the rest of the girls and my mom with the moms. "Since you've never competed with us before now you are not on the pyramid, you need to prove yourself." Abby says sternly. "You will revise your audition solo and perform it at the competition. But there's a twist." I look at her confused. "You will not be able to rehearse it at the studio, to show whether or not you can fend for yourself." Gianna says.
Everyone gasps at this. "Their is also a duet and a trio." Abby says, "The duet will go to Brynn and Kendall it's called Our Seperate Ways. Brynn you will be playing the part of the friend who leaves and Kendall will play the part of the friend who chooses to stay. It's contemporary." "The trio goes to Nia, Camryn, and Kalani it's called Golden. It's jazz and Kalani you will lead." Everyone, including me, claps for the duet and trio. "This weeks group routine is called Never ending. It's about a cycle of the same routine until everyone slowly cracks under pressure. Elliana, Lily, and Maesi will represent a loss of innocence in this dance and will have a feature trio part at the end. The dance is lyrical." Abby says.
"Are you considering Trinity as a permanent member of the team?" Jill asks. "If Trinity doesn't cause any trouble and performs well she can stay as long as she wants." Abby replies. Jill nods looking a little sour before Abby dismisses the moms. "Okay girls spread out and stretch, Kalani and Brynn, you guys will lead the parts before the feature trio." Gianna says.
Once we're finished stretching we learn the first thirty seconds of the group dance before Abby tells the duet to rehearse and dismissed everyone else. I walk out of the studio with the girls to see my mom outside on the phone. I sigh in disappointment. "Trinity." I hear Kira say. I walk over to her confused. "Yes Ms. Kira." I reply. "Does your mom know Alec is going to be in there with Abby?" she asks. "Yes, but Alec has grown attached to Ms. Abby and Gianna ever since my audition. Plus my old dance teacher was just as if not more strict than Ms. Abby, I'd say he's used to it." I answer.
"No child should be around that environment for that long." Holly says. I shrug before going into the den with the other girls. "So how long are you going to be here?" Kalani asks. "Honestly I don't know Ms. Abby had open call auditions and I really don't know what they were for." I answer honestly. After we get over the initial awkwardness we start getting to know each other and are talking and laughing like we've been friends for years. Even the younger girls are having a good time.
When Kendall and Brynn get back the trio leaves. I get to know Kendall and Brynn too and I notice how well we've gotten along. "We should probably get ready for the group rehearsal." Kendall says checking the time. We all agree and walk out of the den.
