{Sonic} Campus Life: Second Year Edition

Second Year

It's been nine months since the first day of a new year. It's also been nine months since Sonic and Amy started dating after he confessed. Now in October, everyone is keeping up with their classes in Mobius University. However, it wasn't easy. Ever since the kidnapping of two university students, allegations against a former university employee, and more of the university's students in the news, the school's been under a lot of heat. Police coming in and out, detectives making thorough searches, and news reporters camping outside the campus to get a chat with any students they can.

Nevertheless, everyone kept their focus and continued a normal life, for the most part. 

"Everything's great here mom. Everything's been worked out already, you don't need to worry." Amy was in her dorm room on the phone with her mother, while she was also getting ready for bed. Amy has tried her hardest not to tell her mom about everything that went on because she knew she'd freak. Seeing as how Amy and her school were in the news, that was kind of hard to do. Sure enough after hearing it, 

'Well I mean you could've told me! It's all over the news! You had your father and I worried sick, Amelia.' She freaked. 

Amy yawned, moving the phone away from her ear as she heard her mother continue to lecture her. Soon enough she put the phone back to her ear but, she was still lecturing her. A few more "blah blah" lectures later, Amy's mother finally calms down. 

"Anyway Amelia, I do hope you're coming home for your Thanksgiving and winter break." Amy smiled brightly, "Of course mom. I'm really looking forward to seeing you and dad again. I actually have some exciting news to tell you all when I get back." "We will be waiting for you dear. We'll have your favorite Thanksgiving meals." Amy giggled as she heard someone knock on her door, "Hold on mom, It's open!" 

The door opened revealing Rouge, Cream, Blaze, and Shade with bags in hand. Amy sighed with a smile on her face. 

"Hey mom, I'll talk to you later." "Okay sweetie, oh and when you see the girls tell them I hope they're doing well and give them a fond hello from me and your father." Amy giggled again, "Actually I can tell them now. You guys my parents said hello and they hope you're doing okay." 

Rouge smiled and grabbed Amy's phone, "We're doing fine May and we are taking very good care of Amy. In fact, we managed to get rid of that jealous bully of hers." They heard Amy's mother laughing extremely hard on the phone, making Amy blush. 

"That's wonderful to hear. Thank you for looking after her. I heard Sonic attends that school as well, whatever happened to him?" Amy heard the question and quickly looked at Rouge, who had a smirk on her lips, 

"Quite funny you asked because-" Amy quickly hopped off her bed and snatched her phone from Rouge, "Okay yeah, that's awesome mom, I'll talk to later. Tell dad I love him and I love you too, Bye!" Before Amy's mom can say anything else Amy hung up. 

Amy sighed in relief and then looked up. The girls were giving her a look that meant 'We need an explanation'. Amy sighed again, "I didn't tell her Sonic and I were dating." Cream looked confused, "Why didn't you tell her Amy?" "Because the last thing I told her about Sonic was what happened at prom." They all said 'oh' in unison. "I was planning on telling both of my parents at Thanksgiving dinner. They can't be mad if the family is all around."
