~Taxi company~ (Shadow's POV)
I pull up to the taxi place and quickly run inside. I see a woman at a desk and I walk up to her. "Excuse me, ma'am. I need a location for one of your cabs. This is the license plate. It's an emergency." I hand her the paper and she looks at me with a frown, "Sir, we can not run plates without proper authorization from-" I slam my ID on the counter and she looks it over.
She clears her throat, "That car is currently being driven by one of our employees, um, Michael Plotts." "Where did he drop off his last passenger?" "Um...I can't show you that but, it looks like he's en route heading to Mobian beach right now." I thought for a moment and nod, "...That's close by. I'm pretty sure I can get there before he can." I grab my ID and thank the lady, before running back to my bike.
I shake my head as I speed down the road, 'She is one annoying hedgehog...'

'Where the hell is that cab? There's no way he beat me here...' I looked around feeling very pissed as the cab was nowhere in sight. I walk along the sidewalk still looking around, until I saw someone in a familiar car receiving money from a random civilian. I looked at the plate number and knew it was the car.
I quickly ran to the car before he drove off and stood near the driver's window. "Hey," I called out to the driver and turned to me nonchalantly, "Yeah, where ya going, kid?" "Just recently, you picked up a pink hedgehog, right?" "What'd she look like?" I slammed my fists again his car in frustration, "How many pink hedgehogs did you pick up in the span of 5 minutes?!" "Take it, easy pal. I'm just messing with ya. You're talking about that crying chick, right? She was a mess, whoever she was with must've broke heart something serious...and on Valentine's day. Cruel." "I don't care about that. Where did you drop her off?"
He looks at me in confusion, "What are you nuts?" I felt myself getting angry and impatient, "What?" He pulls out a cigarette and lights it, "I can't just give you my passenger's location. You could be a psycho for all I know and I do not need that on my record. Now scram kid, I have people to drop off." He started his car and I quickly grab his shirt, pulling him close to my face, "I don't have the time to be messing around with some cab driver who only makes $2 a ride. You tell me where you dropped her off or I'll rip you from this car and run you over with it."
I noticed his expression change when I went to open his door, "Chill out man, look, I'm not allowed to give out that kind of information to anyone aside of the police. I'm sorry, I can't help ya." I pulled out my ID and he frowned, "Well why the hell didn't you just show me that in the first place." "Where is she?!" "Mobius junior high! She told me to take anywhere that wasn't her house. I wasn't paying attention to why." I let his shirt go and walked away. "You're welcome, psycho!" I scoff and hop on my bike driving straight to the school.
~Mobius Junior High~
Once I arrived at the school, I immediately started looking around outside. I looked on the sides of the building, I checked the fields, behind the bleachers, nothing.
