Truth Unveiled

~The Mobius beach~

Sonic steps out of his car with his bag and walks on to the beach, looking around. He pulls his hoody over his head and shivers a little, "I'm gonna get sick standing out here." 

He continues to look around and slowly starts feeling uneasy, 'Where is he...' 

Eventually Sonic stumbled across a shiny object on the ground. He bent down and saw it was Amy's locket in the sand. He picked it up and frowned, "I need to finish this."

Sonic slowly felt the ground rumble and he took notice of the water acting strange. "What the hell is that..." It didn't take long for the underwater base to emerge from the water and draw a bridge onto the sand. 

"Holy shit...No wonder the cops couldn't find them. They built a fucking underwater base!" Sonic steps toward the bridge and cautiously looked around. "Something's wrong" 

Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps, "Shit!" Before he was able to see the person he was whacked on the back of the head.

~Somewhere~

"Do you think he's dead?" Sonic heard someone say. "Tails, why would they hang a dead body in here?" He heard another voice say. "Like a scare tactic maybe? You of all people should know that Shadow." "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Now hold on Shadow, Tails might be right. I mean isn't this like the hundredth time he was whacked on the head." He heard Scourge say.

"Shut up Scourge. I'd slap you right now if I could." Shadow said in anger.

"Hey guys, shouldn't we check if he's alive?" Sonic groans and shakes his head, "I'm alive Silver. Relax."

Shadow frowned at him, "What the hell happened? I overheard one of those assholes saying they got Amy." "She's fine Shadow, I'm fine. Thanks for asking." He growls, "I don't care about you." 

Sonic rolled his eyes and turned to Tails, "How did you guys end up in here?" "We found this place on the list of coordinates. We were scoping out the beach when we saw my DNA scanner, Scourge activated it and then we were ambushed by some strange man and his goons, now here we are. Am I forgetting anything?" 

Shadow scoffed, "Yeah, you forgot the part where Scourge knew about this place and didn't tell us." Scourge rolls his eyes, "I don't anything about this place." "Oh yeah, then how were you able to get past the scanner?" Scourge went silent. "See, I told you he wasn't trustworthy. We should've let the cops lock him up or maybe...put him under right next to the coach." Sonic sighed, "Easy..."

He turned to Scourge, "Amy and I found a name in the envelope you gave me. The envelope that had the coach's bank statements. His name was Marcel." Scourge looked to the side and Sonic frowned, "That name means anything to you?"
