{Sonic} Campus Life: Second Year Edition

Halloween Party

~The day of the party~

It's now Friday morning and also hours before the party. Today is also the day of Halloween. The University, like on every other holiday, is decorated in with an appropriate theme. 

Anyway, the students were moving to and from classes freely now that the news reporters and detectives were off the campus. Right now, Amy, Sonic, Rouge, and Knuckles were spending their free time at the campus' cafeteria.

"I'm so excited for this party tonight. Everyone's been talking about it this whole week." Rouge said with her eyes sparkling brightly.

Sonic chuckled, "Yeah, I heard people all over talking about it. Some guys were trying to scare everyone saying stuff like 'those criminals from the news are gonna show up' or 'watch your back or you'll be on the news too'. 

Knuckles scoffs, "I heard that too. Apparently, someone told someone who told someone else that we're gonna be at the party. Now everyone knows and they're freaking out." 

Rouge smirked, "They have the right to know we're coming. We're V.I.P. technically." "That's not the problem, Batgirl. People feel like if we're coming then, Sally and that weasel will be coming too." She rolled her eyes, "Oh please, those two? We scared them far away. I doubt they will be coming back."

Amy put a finger to her chin and was well in thought. Rouge noticed and tried to get her attention, "Hey, doll? You okay?" "Huh? Oh, I'm sorry, I'm okay." "Oh come on, don't tell me you're thinking about them." "I'm sorry, I just can't shake that feeling. What if they are still here?" "Then we'll kick their asses one last time. Besides, I'm sure if she was still around, she would leave some type of clue. She isn't the sharpest knife in the box."

Knuckles gave Sonic a look that meant 'You should tell her' and Sonic shook his head. He wrapped his arm around Amy, "Ah, Sally is nothing to worry about. She's...a handful but, she's not a problem. And like Rouge said, we scared them away. They won't dare show their faces." Knuckles glared at him hard. "Plus, soon enough we won't be near the campus when we visit your parents for the holidays." 

Knuckles laughed and folded his arms, "I forgot you were going to see Amy's folks. You better hope they don't kill you on sight." Amy's eyes widen and Sonic looked at him in confusion, "What are you talking about?" "Actually, you two better hope they don't get a heart attack when you finally them that you guys are dating." 

Sonic shook his head, "She already told them." He then turned to Amy who had her head down, "Right?" Amy put a hand behind her head and nervously chuckled, "Well...not exactly." "What? Why not?" "I was planning on telling them on Thanksgiving when we were around family." "Why?"

Rouge smirked, "Because her parents are under the impression that you still treat her like dirt." 

He turned to Amy with shock written on his face, "Why didn't you tell me? Your parents hate me and I almost walked in their house with their who they believe I treat like dirt." "I was going to tell you but I wanted to wait," As she said that she gave a quick glare towards Rouge and Knuckles. "And I didn't know how my parents were going to react to us dating so I wanted to wait until Thanksgiving, where we would be around family."
