I woke the next day with no memory how I got to my room. The last thing I remember was Jagger making me drink the blood that Ava keeps with her. Then it occurred to me that when I go days without drinking any and when I do drink some I tend to pass out. I sighed and got up to get ready for a full day of shopping.
Once I was dressed and ready I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed that I was wearing the necklace. A knock sounded at the door and Ava walked in and said, "Jagger and Lady Eve and Mr. Hail has your cousins. Jagger wants to know if you wish to stop by her grave today since you haven't been to it lately and he doesn't know when you will get the chance to again. Father, Mother, Lady Eve, and Mr. Hail can keep your family busy while they wait for us?"
I glanced at Ava and said, "I wish to visit her. Tell everyone for me. While I change really quick. I wonder if she would be mad if I showed up in a band shit and sweatpants."
Ava smiled and left the room. I undressed and walked over to my closet it pulled out my red and black top, the sleeves stopped at the elbow with a black cuff and fanned out. I then pulled out my black skirt that went just below my knees. I put them on along when my shoes and grabbed my jacket. I was all set. I knew that Maze would be happy to see me in this outfit for she was the one to buy it for me before everything that happened.
We were at the graveyard and Jagger glanced at my uncle's family and said, "We won't be long. Please wait here."
Lady Eve walked over to us and said, "Take your time my nephew. I know Maze meant a lot to all of you. Carter, are you going to be okay this time?"
I nodded my head when Lucy looked at Lady Eve and said, "What do you mean this time Ma'am?"
"Lucy enough, this is nothing for you to worry about. Now be quiet before I decided to take your phone away for a day or more," said Uncle James.
"Lady Eve, we'll be right back. We won't talk long," said Alex.
We walk over to Maze's headstone, and I placed my rose on her grave and said, "Hey Maze how have you been? I know I ask you this all the time. Anyways I don't know how to tell you this, but I found my mother's brother. He has a wife and six children. One of his daughters I cannot stand because of the fact that she annoys the hell out of me. Maze, I miss you. I wish to have meet your little one. Damn it Maze why? Anyways this should make you a little happy to know that me and Jagger are talking again. We are also working out our relationship, but know this Maze, I will never make him forget you, even if your little one was born, I would never let your child forget you. But sadly, your child never made it. Maze, I wish you were here. I miss you. I know I have Alex, Ava, Ava's boyfriend Jack, and Jagger, but I still feel alone. I better get going, Jagger and the others would like a word with you. Until next time Maze."
I got up and walked away. I walked past Jagger and the others. They knew not to touch or talk to me. I walked over to the limo and got in. My father placed his hand on mine, and I looked at him.
"It will get better with time little one. I promise you. Like it did with your parents," said my father.
I knew my aunt, uncle, and cousins were listening, but I didn't care. I wiped away my tears and said, "But losing her hurt the most. It hurts knowing that even though she and Jagger had been together and were to have a child, it hurts knowing that Jagger lost a child. Because the kidnapers were after me and Maze was just someone, they used to make me cooperate. Damn I should have forced her to leave."
"Carter, you know that she wouldn't have listened to you. My sister never listens when she knew her friends were hurting," said Lucas.
"Lucas is right Car, Maze was spirited and a forced to be messed with or something like that," said Liza.
