"What are we gonna do with him?" you asked quietly. Everyone looked at you. They were all thinking the same thing. You all sat around the dining table.

"Well, he can't move right now," Hershel told you. "And his leg'll have some nerve damage."

"I say we wait till he gets better and then take him to the road. Give him a canteen," Rick said.

"He's a danger to us!" Shane protested.

"He was blindfolded the whole way here," Glenn said, squeezing your hand in his.  You squeezed back.

"He's a danger," Shane repeated. "Can't any of y'all understand? His people are gonna come here lookin'."

"They don't know where we are!" you yelled. Then, you whispered to Glenn, "Right?"

He nodded at you.

"We can't just let him loose!" Shane said.

"What are we gonna do? Put him in the barn?" you asked.

Rick pointed at you. "Yes."

You and Shane both said at the same time, "What?"

"He'll be safe, but he won't be able to get back to his people. We can keep an eye on his wound and we'll get him back to town when he's better," Rick explained. Shane scowled at him. You nodded.

The group made tweaks to the solution and, once everyone was satisfied, the meeting disbanded.

You and Glenn walked around the farm, swinging your hands together. His hand was warm and it made you feel safe.

"So..." you started quietly. "This... This whole thing." You lifted the both of your hands up. "I like it a lot."

He smiled softly, looking at you like you were a sunrise. "Me too."

Everything about him made your heart flutter. You couldn't even look at him that long without feeling like you were going to explode.

You looked at your feet as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder. "You better never leave me again... I might have to kill you."

He laughed a little and kissed your temple, not saying anything.

"I really hope we made the right decision with Randall... If his people come-"

"They're not gonna lay a finger on you." Glenn looked distant, as if he were imagining it. His face was angry.

"And what if he-"

"I'm not gonna let that happen," he answered.

"But what if it does?" you asked.

He looked at you deeply with his dark eyes. "I will never let anybody hurt you. I promise."

You nodded and kissed him quickly and softly, which made him smile the biggest he ever had.

Later that day, you went to check on Maggie and Beth. Beth was getting better, almost waking up now. The color was back in her cheeks. It made you happy to see her almost okay again.

You smiled at Beth, and Maggie took notice.

"I'm glad, too," she said, and the two of you sat in silence for a while.

"Things are finally starting to get better..." you muttered to yourself, tracing the lines on Beth's soft, pale skin.

"What?" Maggie asked quietly, looking up at you as a piece of brown hair fell over her eyes.

"Something was always wrong. Ever since the start, something had always been wrong. Someone's always been dead or sick, or someone's been missing... Now, everything's coming back together. Life is tying up the loose ends," you explained, (e/c) eyes glowing darkly.

"Well, that's good, right?"

You shook your head, hair strewn about and eyes widened. "I've got a bad feeling about it."
