*suicide trigger warning*

When you got to the house, everything was in chaos. Apparently, Beth had cut her wrists on Andrea's watch. Maggie was stressed out, practically pulling her hair from her head. Lori was glaring at Andrea. Andrea looked like she didn't care, and everyone was trying to get Beth's wrists healed.

Immediately, you felt better.

"Beth, oh my God, what happened?" you asked.

Nobody answered, because they were all so focused. You started to run around frantically, handing them towels when needed. Glenn was doing the same.

When everything was over, you looked at Beth. "Why?"

She shook her head, tears still stinging in her eyes. There was blood everywhere, even in her hair. You wiped a tear from your cheek. You almost lost one of your closest friends.

You wasted no time in wrapping your arms around her, holding her tightly. "Don't do that again, please."

She cried into your shoulder and Maggie's. Maggie petted her hair. You didn't even want to leave the room. You remembered another time someone had hurt themselves.

In seventh grade, your best friend, Nina, had slit her wrists in the school bathroom. You remembered looking for her at lunch and wandering in. You still remembered finding her lifeless body on the floor, pale wrists as red as her hair. Blood splatters seemed to match the patterns of her freckles, and her once-lively green eyes were fixed on the ceiling. Blood ran through the divots in the white tiles, and everything inside you broke.

You'd screamed for help, crying your eyes out. You were collapsed on the floor beside her, trying to clean her wrists with your tears.

You'd screamed her name as she was wheeled away.

You'd screamed her name when your parents took you home.

You'd screamed her name as you woke up from nightmares.

You'd screamed her name at her funeral.

You'd screamed at the girls who bullied her, punched them, broke their noses, and got suspended.

You still screamed today, sometimes.

You didn't leave Beth's side until the sun set over the horizon, and even then, it was hard.

*tw over*

That night, you and Glenn laid in the tent. He held you close you him, and wouldn't let you go.

"Bad things aren't gonna happen," Glenn said quietly. "Nothing's gonna happen to you."

"You can't know that for sure, I just have a really bad feeling. Something's going on, and it's gonna start with Randall." you looked up at him.

"Bad things might happen, but we'll be okay. We always have been, right?" he asked, smiling at you.

You thought back to the first day you met him, his kidnapping, the CDC, Sofia's disappearance, Carl getting shot, and the barn's walkers. You then couldn't help thinking about before-- about your family and how you survived.

You smiled sadly. "Yeah, I guess."

He brushed his thumb against your cheek. He looked like he was going to say something, but he just kissed you.

And you kept kissing until morning... along with other things.

boiiiiiiiii am I saying what I think I'm saying??? yeah, I am. I would be going into ~more detail~ buttttt I'm kinda not good at writing that?

anyway BugAlug666 asked: how many times have you gotten writer's block on this story?

none, actually. when I'm writing, I watch the show at what part I'm on, tweak it slightly to insert the reader (and make my own jokes lolll), and publish. and, you know, write what I want to happen to me bc I'm trashhhh :D

(ask me questions pls they validate me)

Also THIS is the person who writes the story y'all read--
