Lantern lit, they traveled through the hallway.

"Dead end," Jack spoke.

"Maybe," Indy replied, looking around to see if there might be a secret door or passage. "Give me some light over here."

Mutt walked a bit closer, holding the lantern out for Indy to see. Looking at the wall, Indy heard the sound of an air current come out of the wall. Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw a layer of spider weds moving. Mutt brought the light closer, and they could see a hole in the wall, with a skull behind the web.

Pulling the spider web away, and removing the skull, he shined the flashlight in the hole and saw what looks to be two sticks at the end. Reaching in, he grabbed the right one and pulled, nothing happened. He then grabbed the left one and pulled.

To their right, a set of doors opened revealing another hallway. Surprised, Mutt stumbled back, and grabbed onto a skeleton to keep from falling down. As Indy and Jack went to enter the new hallway, a scorpion crawled onto Mutt's sleeve and stung his hand. Grunting in pain, Mutt shook his hand, trying to shake off the scorpion. Then a few more started to crawl up his legs, slightly jumping around, he pushed the scorpions off him, before he could get stung again.

"You okay?" Jack asked, worried.

"Dance on your own dime, will you?" Indy told him.

"One of the scorpions just stung me!" Mutt said, pointing to where they were. "Am I gonna die?"

"How big?" Indy questioned.

"Huge!" Mutt replied, worried.

"Good," Indy replied, about to push forward again, Jack about to follow.

"Good?" Mutt asked, confused.

"When it comes to scorpions," Indy turned back to him. "The bigger the better, a small one bites you, don't keep it to yourself."

With that, they walked down the stairs, Mutt a few feet behind. As they went, Indy shined a light on the skeletons in the wall.

"Look at their skulls," Mutt said.

"Their like the drawings in Oxley's cell," Jack pointed out.

"That means we're getting closer," Indy told them.

"Why is it like that?" Jack asked, curious.

"Nazca Indians used to bind their infants' heads with rope," Indy told the twins. "To elongate the skull like that."

"Why?" Mutt asked.

"To honor the gods?" Jack suggested.

Indy nodded, continuing down the stairs. He shines the flashlight through a few layers of spider webs, seeing what's on the other side.

"God's head is not like that, man," Mutt said.

"Depends on who your god is," Indy replied, looking back at him.

He enters the small chamber, crawling on his hands and knees to get through. Jack, trusting Indy, follows behind him, getting on her hands and knees. Mutt looked in and saw no other way out.

"You're going nowhere fast," Mutt said, before turning to Jack. "Come back, there's no other door or anything."

"Dr. Jones is going to find way," Jack told, looking back at her brother. "He always does."

Pressing forward, Indy was on the other end of the chamber, having to crawl on his stomach for he was close to the ceiling. He shines the light around the wall, looking for a button or lever, anything that can bring them to another room.
