The chase continued. As Indy drove, he was near the edge of the mountain. A right sharp turn, and he would fall of the cliff. Spalko took the wheel, and rammed into Indy, trying to push them off the cliff.

With Mutt, the Capuchin monkeys began to swing on the vines, and Mutt joined them. Swinging through the jungle. He stopped on a branch, and saw his dad and Spalko drive by.

Indy and Spalko looked at each other.

"Do svidanya, Dr. Jones," she said.

She turned the wheel, and began to push Indy's car off the cliff. She continued to turning the wheel, pushing them closer to the edge. Out of nowhere, Mutt came out of the jungle, swinging on a vine, and kicked Spalko out of the driver's seat.

Giving Indy enough time to pull in front. Without warning, capuchin monkeys landed in the car, and attack Spalko and the other Russian. Grabbing the bag with the skull, Mutt leapt into the car in front. He gave the bag to Oxley and fell in the passenger seat.

Father and son looked at each other.

"Whoa," they said.

Looking ahead of them, Indy noticed that they were going to crash. Stomping the brake, they were able to stop before they could be seriously injured. Behind them, the other car came into the clearing, going too fast to stop. The four men ducked, and the car went over them.

Standing up, they heard a click. Through the dust, they saw Spalko aiming a gun at them. Feeling something crawling on her hand, she saw a big ant. It stopped, hissed at her and bit her. She smashed it, killing it. She looked at the floor board and saw hundreds more crawling in. The driver stomped them, trying to kill them all. She started to stomp the ants as well.

"Siafu," Indy spoke. "Big ants, go!"

They quickly climbed out of the car, getting off the ant hill. As the four men ran away, they saw that there was more ant hills, and they were surrounded by them. Pointing ahead, Indy told his companions to run to the river. They ran as fast as their legs could go, but the ants were not far behind them.

A Russian truck was racing forward, following Spalko's order. When it was close, the Russian colonel tackled Indy and Ox to the ground. Mac and Mutt turned around to see what happened. Mutt ran forward, planning on helping, but Indy told him to go to the river. As Indy and the Russian colonel fought, Mutt and Mac did what Indy said.

The Russians in the truck began to fire at the two men. Fortunately for them, Marion pulled up along side them, and told them to get it. Jack helped them in, and turned to her twin.

"Where's Dr. Jones?" She asked, looking behind them.

"He told us to go to the river," he answered, looking behind him.

He looked in front of them and spoke up again.

"There's a cliff," Mutt said to Marion.

When Jack thought they were going to go over the cliff, Marion turned the wheel, avoiding the edge. As Indy and the Russian fought, Oxley, still laying on the ground, looked in front of him. As the army of ants came closer, he removed the bag, revealing the skull. The power of the skull made the ants go around him, and the men fighting.

Spalko stood on the roots of a tree, but the ants were still coming. Above her, she saw a vine, and began to climb it, hoping to get away.

Dodging a punch, Indy hit the Russian several times, pushing him closer to the ants behind him. Throwing another punch, the Russian blocked it, and twisted Indy's arm behind his back. Indy elbowed him, and punched him three times, before the Russian blocked the fourth blow.

Knocking Indy down, the Russian grabbed his ear, and pulled him to his feet. After a few more punches, Indy was on the ground, and the Russian threw Indy's hat away. Dragging Indy up by his hair, the Russian punched him, knocking him on his back. Indy crawled away, with the Russian following, watching him closely. Indy was about to grab his hat, when he saw a small branch sitting by. Grabbing it, Indy swung at the Russian, knocking him to his knees, and Indy kicked him in the face.

Getting to his feet, Indy smashed the branch on the Russian's head, and punched him four times, causing blood to gather in the Russian's mouth. Indy pulled his fist back, prepared to throw another punch, but the Russian fell backwards, landing on the ants. Noticing this, the ants crawled on him, and some went in his mouth.

Screaming in pain, the ants fully covered the man, and though he struggled, the ants carried the man to one of the ant hills. As the man was dragged in the hole at the top, he stopped struggling.

He was dead.

The Russian truck pulled up under Spalko, and she let go of the vine, falling into the truck. All the ants crawled back into their home. Marion drove up, and the four of them told Indy to get in. Indy quickly picked up Ox, placed him in the back, with help from Jack, and got in himself.

The Russians were at the river, and gathered rope, to climb down to the river. Marion raced forward, with no intention of slowing down. The others told her to slow down, Indy even tried to grab the wheel.

"Trust me," Marion said, pressing down the gas pedal.

The vehicle jumped off the cliff, and landed in a sturdy tree. The tree gently fell, getting them closer to the water. She pressed the gas pedal again, and the vehicle safely went into the water. With no weight, the tree quickly moved upward, and hit a few Russians, making them fall to their deaths.

"Don't ever do that again," Indy told Marion.

Mutt placed his hand on Jack's hands, for she was gripping his arm for dear life. She loosened her grip, but didn't let go. She hugged him, trying to calm down, for she though she was going to have a heart attack. Indy patted her shoulder.
