11:15 am

Collins Hotel, room 506

"This is where I'm staying for the week," I say, taking a seat on the bed.

He stands in front of me, looking around. "You'll be here for a week?" he asks.

              "Yeah."

"Why are you really here? Are you really looking for me?" He stares at me in amusement.

I look down, pouting a little. "Can I just say just because. I don't have any reason, you know," I tell him.

He kneels in front of me. "Aw. She's blushing! That's so cute!" he cooes, pinching my cheek.

"I am not cute! Those are for babies," I whine. Come on! That sounds like I'm a baby whining already.

"Of course, you are..." he pauses, smirking, "baby girl," he finishes his sentence.

My eyes widen and I can't help but feel the little butterflies in my stomach to go flutter. That sounds so beautiful coming out of his mouth. I never thought that it will be like a tune I want to play all over again.

I know all too myself I shouldn't get this too much attachment on him since I'm here hoping to get the proper closure I deserve. It just that, I can't help but feel all giggly about the fact that Evan is here right in front of me.

"Stay at my place," he says after a short while.

"What?" I ask, surprise filling my voice. I don't expect him say that to me. We both parted in different direction. We said goodbyes to each other and he said I wouldn't be hearing from him anymore, and yet he's here in front of me, telling me to stay at his place.

"Stay at my place. You've mentioned that you don't like being alone in a room and that you're afraid of beds. Stay at my place, Charlie," he explains.

I never thought he still remembers that. I've said that to him the first two days that we've met so that means, that is like a long time ago already.

              "I... I-uh..."

"Come on, Charlie. Let's pack up your things." He stands up and locates my suit case right away. He unzips it and puts my things inside without even the need to ask me which one goes in of what. Instead of standing up and helping him out, I just watch him. The view's nice anyway.

Maybe it's fate that setting this up already. And if fate has something up, I'm hoping that it's not that big. I hope I can take it after this. Evan has a man of honor. I'm one hundred percent sure that he's not going to stay around to baby a whining, dramatic girl like me.

"Like what you see?" Evan smirks at my direction.

I blush again so I look away. "The view's nice," I say.

"And so from here," he says.

That makes me look back at him and he is just staring at me in amusement.

"You can sleep on the couch once we get there," he says, cutting off the silence of our staring contest.

I gasp, putting a hand to where my heart is. "I thought that's where you're going to sleep!"
