I am so confused

"Woah there, tiger! If you want to do it, at least do it gently!" Annabeth said teasingly.
"Tha... that was never my intention!" I stammered, caught off guard by her statement.
After rushing out of the class, Aisha immediately brought us to a secluded area in Hell.
"More importantly, how did you know about me and Aisha?" I asked," I'm sure I've never seen you before."
"Now that you've mention it, I guess you did not." Annabeth said casually," I mean, I am quite—".
A sword strike nearly sliced open Annabeth' skull if she had not dodged to on side.
"Cut the crap you b***h! Tell me who you are working for or you're gonna die!" Aisha, with a wild glint in her eyes, growled while holding a dagger.
"Now that's the Aisha I remember!" Annabeth said cheekily, rapier in her hand.(Where the heck do they even get those?!)
I stood there horrified as they circled each other. I've known Aisha for quite some time now and never has she snapped in my life. I was about to step in when a distant roar shook the ground.
"Aisha......didn't you say this place was safe?" I said, starring at the direction the sound came from.
"Since when's Hell safe?" Aisha said happily(talk about mood swings).
"From the sound of it, it's probably a earth dragon. So why not we team up for a bit?" Annabeth asked.
"An earth DRAGON?!" I stood there dumbfounded.
Aisha told me that dragons and unicorns did NOT exist at all so why the heck is there one here?
"Relax, it's just a big lizard that spits acid. We just call it that 'cause it sounds cool." Aisha replied.
Just then, a black-scaled BEHEMOTH of a lizard stomped into view, trampling trees in the process. With no time to spare, I bit myself on the arm and let blood trickle from it. I then formed a Long sword in a instant(thank you Aisha for all that training)and got into Attack position.
"So this is the new power everyone been talkin' about. Cool." Annabeth commented.
I blushed. I had this power for some time now and this was the first time someone said it was cool. So it kinda made me uncomfortable as I was not used to getting attention.
"I'll have you two know that right now, we should focus on dealing with this beast first." Aisha said, a hint of annoyance evident.
The earth dragon let out another roar before charging at us like a raging bull. I sprang to one side and hit a nearby tree.(Note to self, always look before dodging)While I was recovering from my blunder, Aisha and Annabeth had leapt up over the beast and landed on it's back gracefully. They then proceeded to deliver blow after blow on the creature's back. However, instead of feeling the pain, the dragon seemed to be enraged more and began thrashing wildly. Trampling the nearby shrubs and trees. But even all that thrashing could not dismount the girls from it's back.
"This feels like riding a bull at the rodeo!" Annabeth shouted exuberantly!
"Hey lukey! What are you waitin' for? Deal the final blow!" Aisha said, adrenaline clearly in her bloodstream(?).
Without a second thought, I rushed towards the mouth of the beast and before it could bite me, I slid under it and sliced it's belly open. With one final roar, the beast fell, lifeless.
After returning the blood to my wound and sealing it, I walked over to the girls. But before I even saw them, I could hear swords clashing on the other side of the corpse. I rushed to the scene and to my dismay, Aisha was already locked in combat with Annabeth. Talk about wild mood swings.
"Who are you working for and what do you want from Lukas?!" Aisha growled.
"Chill now sister! I'm not here to steal your friend there okay? I was just sent here to promote my department." Annabeth said casually.
The two broke off and sheathed their swords when they saw me approaching.
"Could you explain yourself and how you know so much about me?" I asked.
"Like I said, my name is Annabeth and like you, I can see spirits and i was dragged here like you to become a warrior. Although a few months earlier."
"And I read up on you when my superior told me to check on you."
I nod my head, finally understanding some of the details. That would explain why she did not freak out when she entered Hell, had a sword at the ready and how she knew about me. But there was still one more thing that did not add up.
"How did your superior know about me?" I questioned her.
"Simple, my boss said that you owed her one for something and this was what would repay my boss." Annabeth said.
I starred at her. Since when did I make a deal with someone? I looked at Aisha but she too gave me a clueless glance.
"Anyways, we should probably get out of here before more things decide to kill us." Annabeth stated, making me look over my shoulder warily.
Aisha opened a portal for us and when we stepped through it, we were back at school.
"One more question. What do you mean by 'promote my department'." I queried.
"You'll see soon!" Annabeth beamed at me and walked back to class, leaving a worried looking Aisha and a clueless me alone.
