Chapter Two: Room 101
"Your room is on the 2nd floor miss." I nodded slowly and scanned the hotel that we were in.
She handed me the keys because my best friend was still trying to process her thoughts because the excitement was overwhelming her that she was taking pictures everywhere.
"Yah Sunny, we have the whole month to spend here so chill out." I let out a chuckle seeing her so hyped up about this trip.
"Room 101 is the number." The lady gave me a soft smile and then we made our way to our room.
"I can't wait to taste their buffet here, plus we will go to the sea and then-" I shushed her as I inserted the key to the room that we will share.
We made our way inside and settled our bags, the room was enough for the both of us and the balcony that faced the sea was the best part about it.
Sunny took too much time admiring the view that I even finished piling my clothes to my room.
"Hey Dani," I hear her voice nearing my room.
"What?" I took out all the foods that we brought and settled them down on the kitchen counter.
"I hear laughter in the other room. I think there are a lot of guys there." She was wiggling her brows at me.
"So?" I could see the interest that was sparking up in her.
"Something interesting might happen!" She giddily went back to the balcony and stared at the other balcony that was just beside us.
I snorted at her and went out of the balcony, there really were a lot of voices on the other room. It was like they were having so much fun.
"They're quite loud." I nodded my head at her.
"Should we cook something?" She giddily went back inside and showed me a picture of the dish that she wanted to eat.
"Aigoo, you have to pay me." I joked when she pouted and then turning the television on with a louder volume because the voices were still loud enough for us to hear.
"I'm your best friend, I'll pay you with a lot of nice pictures don't worry." I heaved a sigh at her and started cooking.
She grabbed a couple of ingredients and watched the news while helping me cook. I love the aroma of what I am preparing and I am certain that it smells really good.
The voices on the other side made me laugh even more.
"Hyung, I think the people on the other room is eating something yummy." I figured that they were a bunch of guys.
"Yeah! I want to have some!" I feel Sunny staring at me with lasers in her eyes.
"What?" I was kind of unsure with her stare.
"Let's give them some." She looked at me with those pleading eyes.
"Stop that, okay I will give them some." She squealed and gave me a back hug.
"You're the best!"
"How many are they?"
"I think they are a lot."
"Go and ask them Sunny."
"No way, you know that I find it hard to talk to strangers."
"Typical."
"Let's just knock on their door and leave it for them to get." I nodded my head and continued cooking.
"We should go out tonight, I want to purchase a couple of things." She agreed with me by nodding her head a bit too much.
After finishing our meal, the both of us changed into comfy clothes and carried the plate full of gimbap and spicy rice cake.
We went out of our room and carefully placed the food on the other room's door step.
I softly knocked on their door and sprinted off after hearing some footsteps inside.
Sunny and I fist bumped each other and strolled the night market of Jeju.
