Chapter Nineteen: Welcome to Busan!

"How did you even manage to get tickets if I just said yes a few hours ago?" I was bewildered.

It was like everything was prepared, and the only thing left was for me to agree with this bunny guy.

We were now boarding the plane that was bound for Busan and we would probably arrive at 10 pm there because it's almost 9 now.

"To be honest, I booked this ticket ahead and I was very nervous about asking you."

"So you probably went sulking and attended the wedding alone if I hadn't said yes?" He nodded sadly.

"Didn't it occur to you that your fans are still everywhere?"

"It's an exclusive wedding so only a few people can attend it."

"Oh, really? Then I am privileged." I placed my palm on my chest and saw him chuckle.

"What?"

"I knew it was perfect when you'd say yes."

"Why? Why is it perfect?"

"I want to be honest with you, Dani."

"Oh? What's wrong with you? You're making me feel nervous."

"I asked you this favor because I really need your help, I hope that you'd really really help me Dani."

"Well okay, chill."

"You see, this hyung of mine is not a relative."

"Oh! Then why are you making such an effort to fly all the way from Jeju to there for a wedding when you're on vacation?"

"He's a childhood friend of mine, and he's been very close to me and my family."

"Continue."

"And then he contacted me one day, telling me that I had to keep that promise that I made with when I was not thinking cautiously."

"And then?"

"I made a promise to him that I would bring my girl friend to his wedding one day, but I don't have a girl friend."

"But Daniel, why did you even make that kind of promise?"

"Because I did not know that he'd take it seriously, okay?

"So I'm guessing that you've been keeping up an act that you had this girl friend of yours whenever the two of you are talking? Even if she doesn't exist?"

"Well here you are now." His remark made me shut up.

"Yah, I am just pretending okay? Plus, what if he questions us and test our compatibility of some sort?" I had to calm myself to not let my sheeks get even more tinted.

"Oh right! He said he was going to do so!" We were so noisy on the plane.

The other passengers glared at us every time we would laugh hysterically. We talked for the whole plane ride that we did not even notice that the time has passed. The flight attendant went to us a couple of times too, trying to keep us silent.

I had to cover Daniel's mouth every single time his adorable laugh would erupt because I would then laugh too and that is not a good thing because I sometimes can't control my laughter. We were both interrogating each other, asking any question that came to our mind, even if it was kind of weird.

"What's your favorite number in a clock?" We both erupted into silent giggles, everything was too much fun.

"What kind of question is that?"

"I don't know, just answer it." His eyes were gone again, from too much laughing.

"Okay, uhmm 11."

"11? Why?"

"I don't know, it just came to my mind."

"Okay we really need to stop laughing, we have to get off now."

He passed me my own bag as we made our way outside of the plane.

"It's a relief nobody recognized you."

"Yah, who would recognize me if you made me wear a wig of an ahjumma? Wait, is that why you were laughing at me like there was no tomorrow?" I couldn't help but erupt into another fit of laughter as I nodded my head.

"It was?"

"I even had to stop you from laughing too Euigeon."

"Aiish."

"Don't remove that thing from your head, I won the game earlier!"

"I lost on purpose!"

"As if you'd win against me Kang Daniel."

"I'll make sure to win next time!"

"Sure."

"Let's go Dani." We hailed a cab after coming out of the airport when I suddenly realized something.

"Wait, Daniel. I haven't asked you an important question."

"Where will we stay for the night?"

"Oh, uhmm. Would you like to stay at my house or book a hotel?"

"Your house? Does it mean your family is there?"

"Yes. I did not want to pressure you, anything would be fine."

"I'll take the hotel, you can go home to your parents, you probably miss them."

"Are you sure you wouldn't like to come with me?"

"I wouldn't want you to suddenly bring a girl to your home Daniel, they might misunderstand."

"Okay, I booked a hotel for you just now that is just a few minutes away and it is the nearest one from our house."

Since the hotel was nearer, we arrived there first and Daniel helped me in checking in and settling myself until he guided me out to the balcony of the hotel room.

"See the view?" It was very nice.

"Yes."

"Welcome to Busan Dani, I'm glad you came with me." 

The night view of Busan glimmered with lights. 

It was lovely.
