Chapter Thirteen: Accompany Me

Daniel's P.O.V.

"I'm so happy that we finally get to rest." Jaehwan plopped down on the floor by the pool.

"I know."

"I can't believe we survived all those hectic schedules!" Daehwi placed all the snacks on the table as we all went in for a dip at the pool.

Thinking about it, that specific night with Dani in this place is what I can't get stop thinking about.

Her figure swimming in these very waters still lingers in my cision and I can't seem to snap out of it. 

"Daniel hyung, why are you so red?" Guanlin poked my sides as I diverted my gaze to him.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" I pinched my cheeks and I finally noticed that I was feeling warm.

"Are you sick?" Jisung oppa butted in.

"Of course not."

"Or might be you're having dirty thoughts right now." Seongwoo wiggled his brows at me as I shook my head in complete disapproval.

"What the hell, no!" I splashed water on him as he laughed in hysterics.

"Then why are you so red?" They were all staring at me.

"It's none of your business." I swam out of the water and grabbed a towel.

"I'm leaving first." I waved at them and started to walk back to my room.

When I was just about to go inside the elevator, two girls were gossiping loudly towards me. I covered my face the whole time in fear of them knowing my identity and waited for them to board the elevator.

They both spared a glance towards me and then continued on gossiping. They might just be too caught up with their gossip and that's a relief. 

"Hey, have you seen the guy that we just passed by earlier? His effort is totally so romantic!"

"I know like, those bouquet of roses were so big!" I scrunched my nose.

Some guy must be here for his girl, such an effort too.

The elevator door finally closed as I sigh in relief, I waited for a few moments to ride the elevator again and went inside the lift. Just when the door was about to close, a panting guy stopped the door from closing. I stared at him surprised and helped him carry all the roses he had.

"Woah, this is a lot." He nodded his head and grinned.

He must be some kind of head-over-heels for his girlfriend.

"What floor?" I asked him.

"Second." I scratched the back of my head and wondered, only a few people stayed on that floor.

I pressed the button and the door finally closed, the ride of course was short so I bid the guy goodbye and inserted the keys to my room. He was struggling in carrying all the different bouquet of roses plus with different colors.

I plopped down on my bed with my jellies and decided to read some comic books, the part was getting more intense and fun when I heard a scream.

"Jaehyun, snap out of it!" A girl was being so loud!

"Wait, Dani-" As soon as I heard the guy say her name, I jolted up from my bed and went near the door to eavesdrop a bit.

I mean, it's wrong to put your nose in someone else's business but I just can't help it.

"How dare you come here?" Indeed it was Kim Dani on the other room.

"Dani please, listen to me just this once." The guy whom I saw on the elevator, it must be him.

"And why would I do that when she is so blunt about the two of you hooking up?" I munched on my jellies as I creased my forehead.

Dani was cheated on? With the guy outside? Why? How could someone ever think of cheating on her?

"This was supposed to be a romantic gesture, I-"

"I never liked fancy things, you know that. Why did you come here, Jaehyun?"

"I wanted to fix things back."

"We're too torn apart! Can't you see that?"

"No, please let's-"

"You've done things you never did before, when I left for a week, you spent it happily with her without any messages for me. Would you ever want to get together like that?" I can sense it, she was on the verge of tears.

"Please hear me out just this once."

"I can't, my heart's too fragile for you to break it again." I heard her go inside the other room after that.

It seemed like I was being too nosy so I went back to my bed to read some comic books.

Woah, Kim Dani just had a melodrama episode before she came here to Jeju.

 It must have been harder than working with hectic schedules.

"Daniel?" I heard a soft knock on the door an hour later.

"Dani, what's wrong?"

"Can you accompany me?"

"To where?"

"I don't know, just for today, please?"

"Okay."
