Twenty Six | Hello Mom

"Daniel?" I was sniffing through the phone.

"What's wrong?" I was hurriedly packing back my things when I came back from the hotel.

Three people are actually standing on my doorstep wearing face masks and caps. I am so horrified right now, I thought that they were just going to leave soon but they stayed there for 30 minutes now. I had to call someone.

"There are people outside, they're scaring me." I could hear him scurrying on the other line.

When I heard 3 knocks on the door, I knew it was Daniel. I hurriedly checked just in case it wasn't him and hurtiedly opened the door when I confirmed it.

I don't know why I was so scared that I rushed to Daniel's arms when I saw him.

"Are you okay?" He squeezed my hand and accompanied me back inside.

"Where are those people?" He made me sit down on the couch and tried to ease my breathing.

"I already told security to call them, you don't have to worry now. We'll be going back to Jeju this afternoon if you don't mind." I shook my head and stood up.

"I am done packing anyway." I carried my luggage to the couch and everything else that was mine.

"But Dani, I left my luggage at home when you called. Do you want to wait for me here or do you want to come with me so that we don't have to go back?"

"I'd rather come with you, it's not like I'll be going into your house too, right?"

"Okay, You can wait in the car." We both made our way out and he placed all my luggage in his car.

"Who uses this car when you're not around?" I asked him.

"Actually, this belongs to a friend of mine. I kind of borrowed it for our whole stay here in Busan." I thought it was his.

We both settled in his car and drove out of the hotel that I was staying. My phone was blasting with notifications and my followers increased too much in just a  short amount of time. I don't know if it's a good thing because I am still too afraid to read the messages that are sent to me.

"We're here. Wait for me, okay?" I nodded obediently and looked at hime when he got out of the car.

Their house was pretty cozy to look at, I imagined little Daniel playing in the yard and I found it so adorable that I was smiling to myself.

When I got bored, I decided that I had to at least try to know what was happening in my sns rather than just looking at the amount of increase of my followers. My eyes bulged when I saw my past photos were found everywhere. How do they even find this?

I was too busy on checking every single picture of me that was leaked online that I scremaed and dropped my phone when I heard a knock on the glass door. I nervously turned my head and saw who it was, it was Daniel's Mother.

I gulped hard and lowered the glass door, greeting her as enthusiastically as much as I could.

"Why are you here? Why aren't you inside?"

"Well uh, I figured that you might not like me being there." I was trembling in my seat.

"Of course not! Come on, get inside." I did not know how to protest so I just obeyed her.

There was nothing I could do.

"Were you out Ma'am?" I tried to strike up a conversation because I felt that I would collaspse or something.

"Oh yes I was, I rushed home when Daniel told me he was leaving."

"I'm home!" I followed her  to the inside of the house.

"Eomma!" Daniel rushed to her but stopped on his tracks when he saw me tailing behind her mom while looking so pale and lost.

"Oh, Dani."

"How could you let your girlfriend wait on the car? Do you not want her to introduce to your appa?" Daniel's mom invited me inside and made me sit down.

I was giving Daniel pleading eyes.

"Well I'm calling Dad, the both of you stay here." She went out of the room and Daniel rushed to my side.

"Your Mom saw me! She knew you were using the car so she tapped on the glass door and now she invited me inside."

"Okay breath." I did what he said and eased for a bit.

"Should we tell them the truth?"

"We can't."

"Then, do we continue with this?" He nodded his head.

"I do hope that this help of mine will be helpful for me in the future too."

"Don't worry Dani, I owe you so much so I'll do any favor."

Both of his parents emerged on the room and I felt my lips getting dry. Why was I so nervous? It's not like this was real at all. But it's just that I feel like I'm meeting my real in-laws. What is wrong with me.

I stood up from my seat and bowed to the both of them. They both sat down too on the couch opposing us.

"So, would you like to introduce her Daniel?"

"Eomma,Appa, this is Dani my girlfriend." I bowed again.

"Nice to meet you." I plastered a smile on my face and tried to look as calm as possible.

"Your name is Dani?"

"Yes, it's Kim Dani."

"Well this is not the first time that Daniel brought a girl home, but this is the first time for him after becoming an idol." I looked at him.

I wonder how many girls has he introduced to his parents. It must have been a lot, considering his popularity.

"Ah, is that so?"

"Yes. You do not mind that, do you?"

"Aniyo, Daniel must probably have been famous even before." I slowly grabbed his arm not knowing what to do.

"Eomma, why are you bringing that up."

"Shush, I'm talking to her."

Daniel pouted like a little kid.

"So, what do you like about our Euigeon dear?"

"He's very thoughtful, and charming. I now understand why so many people love him." I exclaimed.

What I was saying was the truth, not onky was he thoughtful but he did not mind me and Sunny suddenly entering to their lives.

"Oh, is that so?"

"How long were you together?"

"For a year." Daniel butted in and squeezed my hand.
