"Nice job buddy!" You say to Hunter while giving him a high five.
"Well that is enough reading for today, go put your book away while I start dinner ok?"

"Ok mommy!" He replies in a cute little voice making you smile.

You get up from the couch and go over to the kitchen thinking about what you should make for dinner.
"I GOT IT! I'll make Hunter macaroni and cheese with chicken nuggets and steak with some vegetables for Grayson and I. He'll love it!"
It was now 6 o'clock and you were full of excitement to see your husband.
"HUNTER!! TIME FOR DINNER!!" You yell into the living room.
"COMIINNG MOMMYY!" You get in response.
"Where's daddy?"

"He is just running a little late. Now hurry and eat your dinner so we can get you washed up and ready for bed."

He runs over to the chair struggling to get up. You start laughing and run over to put him in his chair.
Time has passed and you watched the clock which now read "7:08"
"Are you ready for your bath Hunter?"

"Where's daddy?" He asked. You wondered this yourself but instead told him..

"I'm sorry baby he got stuck at work. Let's just go and get you washed up." You say while taking him to the bathtub.
You filled the bath with water and bubbles..because what kid doesn't love bubbles.
After tons of splashing and giggling you took Hunter out of the bathtub, dried him off and got him dressed.
"Time for bed sweety"

"How come daddy not home?" He asked. (He is still young so he can't talk properly 😂)

"I'm so sorry buddy. He had to stay late at work and I know he is very sorry too. He'll make it up to you soon ok?" You say with a weak smile.

"Okay mommy."

"Now get some rest" you say while giving him a kiss on the forehead and tucking him in.
You left his room, closing the door and went to eat your cold dinner. You took a few bites and threw the rest out. You didn't feel like eating anymore and not to mention freezing green beans aren't exactly appetizing.
"9:36" the time now read.
You were beyond furiated and hurt that he didn't even bother to send a quick text or call. You threw Grayson's dinner out and sat at the table finishing up some work for your job. After about an hour and a half Grayson still hadn't come home and you finally finished your work.
You were done waiting up for him so you went up to your room and changed into pajamas then jumped into bed.

"UGGGGHHHH" You sighed looking at the ceiling while running your hand through your hair. Tears slowly started traveling down your face. Eventually you fell asleep when a disturbing noise came from outside of the house waking you up. It was 4:25 and you slipped out of bed and went to the front door. You peeped out the window and opened the front door to see Grayson.
"GRAYSON WHERE THE H.LL HAVE YOU BEEN!?" You yell while pulling him into the house.
He didn't respond.
"GRAYSON I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!" You shout.

"IT'S NONE OF YOUR F... KING BUSINESS OK Y/N!?" He says while walking to your bedroom and slamming the door shut.

You began sobbing. What happened to him? He was perfectly fine this morning. Was he cheating? These were the questions that roamed your mind. You wiped away your tears and opened the door to your bedroom revealing a fully clothed, sleeping Grayson. Sleeping was not on your mind anymore so you stayed at the dining table scrolling through your phone until the next morning came.

HEY GUYS! Now the title is going to start making sense so yeah.. I can't wait for you to read what else I have up my sleeve. I'll be continuing the pool story next so YEAH. Haha. Once I finish one of these two stories I'll have some other ones for you to read that I think you'll love. REMEMBER GUYS STAY POSITIVE.
