This is not a short story. I also have to say that this is more of a mature story.
There might be mistakes because I don't want to make you guys wait even longer while I edit.🍩
Just when you were 6 years old, you were forced to live with your uncle. Your mom died at child birth and your father recently died in a train accident so there was no where else to go.
Your uncle wasn't the loving, caring man that your father was. Every week since the accident he would take advantage of you. *reminder you were 6*
The present takes place 11 years in the future.
You are now 17.

"Alright class settle down, now before the bell rings, I want you to work with the person next to you and create a tri-fold on the importance of art."
The whole class groaned as the bell rang, releasing you all to go home.
"Hey Y/N."
A deep voice was heard from behind you as you bolted for your locker."Oh yeah sorry, we're partners for the project."
You apologized as you removed your belongings from your locker and into your bag."So do you want to do it at my house or yours."
"Let's do it at your house, we can't do it at my house."
Grayson, your partner gave a confused look but quickly removed it as he noticed you had taken off.
"Wait! I have to give you my number!"
He chased after you and exchanged numbers.
He noticed that something was off with you. Grayson had known you since the 6th grade and had a crush on you since.
He wanted to know what was up so he decided to follow you home without you noticing. You exited the building and strolled down the sidewalk. You had to walk home everyday because it meant you didn't have to spend that extra 15 minutes in the car with your uncle.
Grayson's POV:
How far is this girl walking?!
My legs are starting to hurt and my battery is at 20%.Every so often I have to duck behind a bush just so she doesn't know I'm following her.
Now that I think about it.. This is pretty creepy, but I have to make sure she is okay.As we continue walking I noticed that we are moving further and further away from the town.
All I see are trees and less street lights to light up the area which was now getting darker by the minute.Eventually we came to a stop when she ran over to the mail box, removing everything in it and walking towards the front door of the run down, one story house.
There wasn't much color or vibrance to the property besides the tall a*s trees surrounding the house in a circular shape. I swear she lives in like a forest it something.
Y/N POV:
I removed my right headphone as I walked straight to my room where I dumped my school junk onto my bed.
As I started my homework I became anxious as the seconds which turned into minutes passed, hoping that my uncle wouldn't be return home. Or at least not yet.
