"Hey Xoe, I'm going to toss you my phone. Can you put it on that table next to you?"
Your stomach started to twist at the thought of your phone not successfully making it to your friend Xoe and falling into the pool.
"3, 2, 1.."
You threw your phone and she juggled to catch it. And with your luck, it fell in.
"Y/N, I AM SO SORRY!"
"Nah it fine.. I'm the stupid one who was too lazy to walk around the pool and set it down."
She jumps into the pool and retrieves the no good device.
"I'll just get a new one."
"I feel so bad.. I can buy you a new one."
She hands you your IPhone 6.
"No it's all good. I was about to get the IPhone X anyways."
...
You head back to your apartment and hopped into the shower so you can quickly get to the phone store.
..
Grayson texts you as you're in       the shower.

Grayson: Hey sweetheart! I'm taking you out tonight. Meet me at our spot. Can't wait to see you 😍

End of text.

You exit the shower and change into a white Nike sweatshirt, black leggings and all white Nike's.

You drive to AT&T to buy the new IPhone X and try to get your information transfered from your old phone.

Grayson's POV:

So.. I told Y/N to meet me at our spot, the tree I bumped into while staring at her when my eyes first stumbled across her.
I plan on taking her from there to a lit up gazebo, surrounded by trees with a well thought out dinner spread across the table that lies inside. After that we'll dance and I'll propose.
....
NO GRAYSON YOU CAN'T JUST PROPOSE TO HER LIKE THAT!! YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING THAT LEADS UP TO IT..
He continued to bicker at himself over what the actual plan was going to be.

I'll just figure it out as I go..
He frustratedly tied his tie and left the house to set up the dinner.

Your POV:

"Thank you!"
The worker handed you the bag with your new phone inside.
You were super excited to have the new X.
You drove home and took the phone out of the bag and held down the power button.

Wow.. No home button..
This looks so weird! I love it!
The phone revealed a white screen with an apple logo centered in the middle.
The white screen disappeared to show a screen with the selection of which language you speak.
Before being able to select "English", the screen turned black.
What the..?
You held down the power button again to be resulted in the same thing.
The screen continued to turn on and off before being able to set up anything on the phone.
It was too late to go back to the AT&T store for the night so you decided to head to bed and get it fixed first thing in the morning.

Grayson's POV: 

Ok.. I'm at the tree.. It's 9pm .. She should be here any minute.
He started breathing perfusely and wiped his sweaty hands on his pants.

Your POV:

You brush your teeth and pick out an outfit to wear for tomorrow.

OH SHOOT! I FORGOT TO CALL GRAYSON.. OH MAN! HE'S PROBABLY SLEEPING ALREADY.

You're mad at yourself for completely forgetting to contact your boyfriend. The most important person in your life and you forgot to call him..
You jump into bed and pull the covers over you.
The entire night you thought of Grayson and how worried he must be.
