Vanessa's POV:

I grabbed my shoes and went to grab my flower bouquet. Only 15 minutes until we walk down the aisle. I'm sure Antonio is just as nervous as Leila, those two are amazing together. The perfect couple really. Antonio is a lawyer at one of the city's most reputable firms and Leila is his secretary.

Suddenly, I felt hands covering my eyes.

   "Guess who, darling?"

(a/n: Who do you think it is?)

It took all of 30 seconds to recognize the voice. Antonio!

"Antonio! You know you aren't supposed to see the bride before the wedding!" I chuckled, as he removed his hands and spun me around.

"Please at least tell me how she is? Is she nervous? Is she getting cold feet?" He asked, the smile disappearing from his face.

I put my hands on his shoulders and told him.

"Antonio, she is missing you and she is ready to walk down that aisle. She will be there, don't you worry. Now go!"

His face broadened into a smile and threw up his hands in surrender.

Lance's POV:

"Hey man, you are Nessa's plus one, right? Lance?" The groom, Antonio, asked me, bringing me into his suite and closing the door. I nodded my head and waited to see where this was going.

"Look, this is the first time in forever Nessa has brought any guy to a family thing. You must have really wowed her or something. But, keep this in your head, mister. You mess with her, you mess with all the men of the Wellington and Brookridge families. You got that?"

"Antonio, first off, congrats. Second, I'm pretty sure she's the one who did the wowing because I wouldn't intentionally hurt her. I'm honored she even let me come to this." I answered, knowing that this guy probably wouldn't mind getting my blood on his tux if I didn't answer his truthfully.

"Good answer. I can see the truth in your eyes. Now, she's a bridesmaid and I think it's only fitting that you are a groomsman. So go pin a boutonniere on your lapel and head to the beach." He told me, pushing me out the door.

Erm, okay?
