"Oh my God. Phil! Look over there!" Dan Howell said, with deep worry in his voice. "What is it?" Phil Lester answered, concerned about Dan's tone of voice. Dan looked over at his raven-haired friend and said "A girl just collapsed! We should try to help her!" The two friends ran over to the girl's body and listened for a heartbeat. It was there! Faint, but there all the same! "She's alive," Phil exclaimed, "but I doubt not for much longer. Look at her arm!" Dan's brown eyes followed Phil's gaze and looked at her forearm. There was a sizeable chunk missing and there was blood, clotted or otherwise, everywhere. "She needs to get the hospital. Phil, use your phone to find out where we are and I'll call an ambulance. The men set to work, praying to a God they didn't believe in to save this girl, whoever she was.

Gabbie woke up in a brightly lit room surrounded by three other people. She could just about make out a woman saying, "She's waking up! I'll get the doctor." and she scurried out of the room. The two figures remaining were males from what she could make out through her hazy vision. One had black emo hair and was sat down, the other had brown hobbit hair and was leaning against the wall. "Good morning, or afternoon, rather. How are you feeling?" said the black haired man. His voice sounded familiar but she couldn't remember where from. Her memory was so hazy. Where was she? Instead of asking him about this, Gabbie answered his question politely. "Much better thank you. Where and how did you find me?" The brown-haired one spoke this time, "We found you passed out on the street with a gaping hole in your arm." This was when she noticed the bandage around her forearm and the many machines she was plugged into. The brown-haired man continued, "You had lost a lot of blood and were completely alone. What were you doing and where's your family?" The events of that evening came flooding back to her and tears streamed down her face. The two men leaned closer and grasped one of her hands, concerned. She recognised their faces and her eyes widened. "You're Dan and Phil. Stars of YouTube and the two people I've wanted to meet more than anyone in the world!" They looked awkward at the recognition but Phil said "No need to introduce ourselves I guess! Seeing as you know our names, how about you tell us yours?" "My name is Gabbie Preston, I'm fifteen years old and, on the 16th of August, I came to London on a day trip with my mum" They listened intently as she told them the whole sad story. Once she'd finished, Dan asked "Don't you have any family back home?" She shook her head and said "My grandparents died when I was very young so I never knew them. My German father left us when I was 7 for a rich Puerto Rican girl. They're probably sailing around the Bahamas now. My fathers family is German and I've never met any of them and my mother..." She paused, as they already knew what had played out.

"Looks like you have nowhere left to go" Phil said, stating the obvious. Gabbie simply nodded. He continued. "I guess there's no other choice!" I was puzzled. No other choice for what? Dan and Phil looked at each other with knowing look in their eyes, which made her even more confused! Before Gabbie could say anything, Dan announced, "I guess you'll be staying with us for a while!" Every scrap of negative emotion soared out of her body. Gabbie was ecstatic. Not only had she met her idols but was going to be STAYING with them! In their HOUSE! She awkwardly realised they were still anticipating an answer. She turned to them and said gratefully and confidently: "Yes!"
