When I woke up from my nap, I felt a little refreshed and ready for the afternoon, but when I came out and noticed no one was in the RV I stepped outside and asked them what was going on then as I looked down at the front passenger tire I answered my own question. I looked around and asked where Stoney was, mom came over to me and told me he took the keys to the Royce and headed back to town to get help, because the RV didn't have a jack or anyway to fix the tire. I raced to the back of the RV and saw my car missing and told them never to let Stoney behind the wheel of my cars!! I ran into the RV and quickly called Klayton's cell, after the third ring he answered and asked me how my nap was...but all I could say to him was not to be hot rodding my car! Then I hung up on him.
Stoney snickered a little bit as he pulled into the nearest mechanic shop and asked for some assistance, about thirty minutes later Stoney pulled the Royce back up on the car dolly and hooked it back up to the RV, and said help has arrived. Two guys hopped out of their truck with an RV jack and withing 3 minutes they had the spare tire mounted and they loaded the bad tire in the tire compartment in my RV and I thanked them very much, and gave them 20 bucks for their help, even though they told me it wasn't necessary. Just as we were getting ready to leave the state line and finally be in Kansas...my phone rang I took one look at it and gave a very longing sigh and answered, it was my ex-wife Shaunyl. And I knew she was going to bring something up about Johnny's visitations with me again. Because she was tired of sharing custody of him with me, beens I was no longer in her life anymore, and wanted to move on with her new love interest and I was just causing her grief in between. But I wasn't in the mood to argue with her over it, because I told her a million times I wasn't going to give up my son just so she could be happy.
I took a deep breath in and asked her what she wanted this time, she came right out and told me that she was at the airport in Sydney, Australia...and wanted to know if I wanted her to send Johnny my way or take him with her to Canada where she was going to do a photo-shoot for about two or three months for her modeling. I jumped up and told her I always wanted to see my son...but I just wasn't in Vegas, and she would have to send him to the nearest airport where I was. Shaunyl gave a slight huff and asked me where exactly would she be sending her son, beens we were still in Colorado, I told her to send him to the airport that was closest to the Colorado/Kansas state line.
Shaunyl put me on hold for twenty minutes, then told me to get to Boulder airlines because that was the closest airport and that I had better be there when our son gets there. I now a little irritated with her told her that I would be there before Johnny's plane even got halfway there, then I purposely hung up on her. I opened the bedroom door and went out with my family and announced that we were going to have a minor layover in Boulder Colorado...because Shaunyl has just informed me that she was sending my son to me for a couple months or so. That made all of them cheer because they always loved seeing their nephew/grandson...and they never did get to see much of him, since Shaunyl kept changing up my visitation dates and fucked up everything.
I was always wanting to spend time with my little man, but I just wasn't sure if he would have much fun being stuck in an RV for the duration. It didn't matter though, JD was now driving again and he was heading post haste to Boulder so we would be ready to pick Johnny up when his flight landed, so he wouldn't be scared about being in a new place without anyone there for him, even though he would have the stewardess looking after him, he was only three years old. JD pulled up at the airport and I went to the main desk and asked them when the flight from Sydney Australia would be landing, because my son was on the flight being taken care of by the head stewardess.
The lady checked her schedules and time clocks, then looked up at me and said it wouldn't be landing until late this evening probably around 8 or 9 tonight, give or take the amount of turbulence over the ocean. I shook my head and thanked her, then told my family that we had a long wait ahead of us. But beens none of them wanted to do anything, we all went into the RV, and played a game of Gin Rummy, which I had to admit our mom skunked us all, for that was her favorite game to play, but it was only fun when there was a lot of people playing it. After our very long card game, mom decided to go in the back bedroom and take a short nap. The rest of us sat around on the couch, and watched Clive Barker's Hellraiser. Because I grabbed the remote and put the DVD in before Stoney could put another damn Godzilla flick in. Not that I didn't like Godzilla because I did...I just didn't like it 24/7.
After Hellraiser was over with we watched Nightmare on Elmstreet. Costa and JD was conked out on the couch, and Stoney and I were the only ones still up watching classic 80's horror flicks. I kept my eyes on my watch though, then when it came close to 7:30 I went back into the airport and asked them if the flight landed yet. She checked her clock again and said it would be landing in 25 minutes, so I went over and just sat down at the waiting bench until my son came scampering off the flight with his flight caretaker.
