My Every Breath{Criss Angel Fanfic.}

~Eight~

After I bought the girl a fresh beverage I apologized again and asked her for her name, she gave me a slight smile and said Kc, then I turned away from her for just a second, as she reached over and grabbed an apple. I turned to ask her something else and we had a slight collision and I accidentally knocked the apple out of her hand, it landed on the floor in and split exactly in half beside our feet. I looked up at her to see her smile a little bit more, I handed her a new apple she thanked me, then she walked out and hopped into her little car and drove off...I found myself lost in the moment just at the thought of her because she was so damned adorable. Johnny came scampering out the door and grabbed my hand and asked me why I wasn't coming for dinner, I picked him up and gave him a kiss and told him that I was just heading in that direction.

After the wonderful Chinese dinner, and some exotic dessert, I grabbed a little bit of chicken for our four-legged kids in the RV. Johnny fed Houdini, while I fed Hammie and Stutter, Stoney took the driver's position with JD riding shotgun...Dimitra and Costa were sitting on the couch. Klayton pulled out and we were once again on the open road. I took a nice nap with Johnny and the critters...until I got an uneasy calling from JD from outside the RV, I slowly got up and went to the door and asked why we stopped in the middle of nowhere. Klayton looked at me and said the motor took a dump, and there was no way he could fix it on the open road without the proper tools.

I looked at the sizzling motor and asked him if he tried calling for help...he tossed me his phone and said there was no signal. I sat down on the step and looked around and asked what else could happen...just then the wind came up and we all heard thunder in the background...JD chuckled at me and said I had to ask. Just as the rain started to fall everyone jumped back in the RV and just sat around with no idea what to do. I was still out in the rain looking around trying to figure out something when suddenly it hit me, a small car out of nowhere gave me a bath from the water in the pothole in the road. I stood there blankly and said yep that's exactly what I needed.

Luckily though the little car stopped and shockingly that same girl that I ran into twice already hopped out of the car and apologized to me...and asked if I needed any help. I looked at her and began laughing because there was no way it was merely coincidence that I run into this girl three times in one day! I truly believed it was fate, I was somehow supposed to be with this girl or something. I snapped out of it and told her that my RV's motor decided to blow up on me and that I had no idea where I was, or where to go to get it fixed. She gave me a bright smile and said to hold on for just a second. She ran to her car and grabbed her phone and made a call...then came over to me and said in about 15 minutes her brother would be coming down with a huge tow truck and take my RV to his garage.

She asked me if I had enough room in the car for everyone in the RV. I looked at my car and told her no. She said she could take a couple people in her car because she was going to the same place. I went to the RV and handed Klayton the keys to my car and told them to follow the little car to her house, that her brother was coming to pick up the RV and eventually make it to the garage. Costa said he would stay with the RV, and ride with the guy. JD and mom took the critters in my car, and I took Johnny with me and hopped in the passenger seat of the girl's car as she pulled out.

Johnny was sound asleep in my arms, she slowed down at a very sharp curve then asked me what the little angel's name was...I rubbed his head and told her his name was Johnny then I shook her hand and told her I was Criss, then I said her name was Kc right, she gave me a smile as she went around the corner and said I had a very good memory. Even though she didn't say anything I had a strange feeling like she knew exactly who I was...but I didn't say anything, just in case she didn't. I looked behind us and saw Stoney driving right behind us, and a little further behind us was a huge tow truck with my RV dragging behind it.

Moments later Kc pulled up in a driveway, she turned the ignition off and said this was it, I slowly got out holding my son in my arms and asked if there was a place I could put my sleeping boy. She pulled me up to the porch, then waited for the rest of my family to make it up to the porch, then she invited all of us into the building...at first, I thought it was her house, but it was a large farm-styled B&B. She gave us keys to a couple of the rooms and said we were welcome to stay as long as we needed. That her brother was good at fixing things but he couldn't do it in a day or two, especially when the entire motor blew up.

JD and Costa shared a room, mom and Johnny shared a room, and lucky me I got Stoney and the three critters. We all must have been more tired then we thought because after we all got relaxed and in a real bed...we were all out like lights. I did happen to wake up a few times and just stare at the ceiling thinking mindlessly about Kc...and why fate brought me to her. I truly believed that a stronger force has brought us together. And I couldn't leave until I found out of all the girls in Kansas why I kept running into this one.
