When I woke up the next morning my little man was curled up under my arm and looking up at me with a very peeked face...I sat up on my arm and rubbed his tummy and asked him what was wrong, he put his little arms around my neck as he said he didn't feel good. I pulled him up in my lap as I sat up in the bed and held onto him, and placed my lips on his forehead to test his temperature...but he wasn't really hot, I kissed him and asked him where he was feeling icky at...and he pointed to his tummy. I gave it a few rubs and felt the tightness in his tummy and asked him if he needed me to take him to a doctor. But every time anyone would mention that word, he would usually scream and run, but this time he just buried his head in my chest, and cried a little bit...which meant my little man was really feeling lousy.

I asked him if I could put him down long enough for me to get dressed, but every time I tried to sit him down he would start crying again, so I got dressed with one hand while holding him in my other arm...which wasn't the easiest thing to do, but I managed it, even though after I got my boot on I realized that one sock was inside out, so I had to sit down with him in my lap so I could turn my sock right side out, and put my boot back on. I went downstairs where Klayton was sitting at the table looking thru a newspaper while drinking a very strong cup of coffee. Costa was still asleep, JD was outside sitting on the porch swing talking with Kim while she was holding his hand...I sat down with Johnny clinging to me and raised my eyebrows to Klayton as I looked outside, he snickered a little bit and said yeah to my nonverbal question.

Stoney changed the subject as soon as he saw the way his nephew was acting...and asked me what was wrong with his little Godzilla boy. I told him that his tummy was causing him trouble this morning, but he didn't want me to take him to the doctor. Klayton rolled his chair around to where I was sitting and opened his arms to see if he would go to him, amazingly Johnny did, Klayton gave him a big squeeze and sat there and gently massaged his tummy for him, then grabbed an empty juice glass from the table and poured a couple sips of his coffee into it and handed it to Johnny. I looked at him and told him that he wouldn't drink that stuff, Klayton looked up at me and said watch him.

I looked at my little man and sure enough he took the glass from his uncle and drank it down, while Klayton was still rubbing his tummy, and telling him that it would make him feel better. Klayton maybe a crazy S.O.B. but he was really good with kids, and magically fixing their ailments, and he wasn't even a certified doctor, but he was a hell of a lot smarter than most registered doctors. I asked him if he knew what was wrong with him, Klayton kept rubbing his tummy and told me that the new food wasn't agreeing with his tummy, and he needed to let it out, he was full of gas pains...which was why he was rubbing him, to massage the gas pains out, and the coffee that he gave him would help it too.

After a couple hours of Stoney constantly rubbing his tummy he let a little gas out, Klayton looked down at him and comically said oh really?...which made him giggle, as he farted again. Klayton playfully held his nose and said my goodness young man, then looked down at him again and asked him what he ate. Johnny was now a complete giggle box, as Klayton jumped out of the chair and carried Johnny out of the dining room and told me that they were going to the bathroom before one of those air biscuits turned into a little bit more solid than just air. Which made me laugh too.

Kc came in from outside, and asked if I would like to go for a ride with her, I looked around and noticed she had to be talking to me because I was the only one in the room...I hopped out of the chair and asked her where to, but she didn't answer me she just gave me a smile and walked back out the door. I gave myself a slight grin and went out the door when I looked up though I had a very shocked look on my face because I thought she met a car ride, but she was sitting atop a beautiful black and white painted horse, with a solid black horse saddled beside her. I slowly walked up to the horse and gave him a few love rubs and told her sheepishly that I have only been on a horse twice in my life, and the first time wasn't a very pleasant experience.

Kc smiled at me and assured me that Xristos was a very good stallion, I looked up at her and asked her if that was seriously his name, she giggled with me and said absolutely then told me that she would show me his registration papers when we got back from our ride. I jumped up in the saddle and reached down for the reins then told her to lead the way, so she wouldn't see me ride like I didn't know what the hell I was doing. But she stayed right beside me and taught me step by step what I was doing right and wrong, and before I knew it, I was riding like a professional horseman...and I had to admit I was having a blast being with her alone for the first time since she brought us all to her home.
