XXV.. Christian
It was an ordinary day at the store. A few people came by. Of course, who would spend this much to a bunch of jewelry? These were quite perfect stuff but only the rich could afford.
The door opened. A customer.
Christian: Good afternoon, sir and madame. How may I help you?
Jess’: I’m looking for an engagement ring.
Christian: Oh, what do you prefer madame? Big? Small? Ruby? Diamond?
Jess: Oh, not me. I’m here to help him pick.
Christian: Pardom me madame. Here are our finest pieces. These are the best sellers. The other side is quite simplier and costs lower. But the materials are the same.
Jess: Okay.
Jess’: I’m not looking for the best sellers. I’m here for the ones made only for one piece.
Christian: Oh. The premium. Come, follow me.
Jess: God, Jess. These are gorgeous.
Jess’: Yeah. The price is gorgeous too, you know.
They laughed.
Jess’: I don’t care. I’ll get to marry only once.
Christian: With the right girl, any ring is the best.
Jess’: Exactly.
Jess: I like this one. But this will look good on her. So is this. This will seem more your choice. But this is more sophisticated. I CAN’T CHOOSE!!!
Jess’: Okay. Hmmm. Choose what you want. I have no idea about these so just choose what you want the love of your life to give you.
She looked at him.. They look good together. I wonder if she’s just her relative or friend. Do they have a past? Definitely, the way she stared at him was different.
Jess’: Don’t mind the prices.
She looked at the pieces. She stared at one. He moved closer. She still didn’t say anything.
Jess’: This one huh?
Angel: Yes.
Her face blossomed.
Jess’: Yeah. This is it. I’ll get it.
Christian: Okay sir. Just wait here.
