VIII. The other Jess
Jess: So that’s it? You met her for a dance and you fell for her? That’s not long!
Jess’: The story’s not finished okay?
Jess: Fine. Sorry. Just caught up. Continue.
Jess’: So we spent time together, everyday for the next couple of days. I cancelled my entire schedule after 4. I didn’t mind. We stayed practicing until 7 everyday. That’s late already so we end up eating dinner. On the day before the practice, I drove her home.
Jess: Is it far?
Jess’: Not really. Like 3 hours travel time only.
I was serious. She thought I was being sarcastic. She laughed.
Jess: Okaaaay. You didn’t do her that day ?
Jess’: Nooooooooo?! What? No! I’m not that kind.
She laughed.
Jess: I was just joking.
Jess’: Not funny. I’m not a perv.
Jess: Okay. Let’s go, Shakespeare. Continue your love story.
Jess’: I promised her I’d treat her lunch the day of the performance. I said I’ll go to her house too so she won’t commute. She said yes.
Jess: She waaaas entertaining you.
Jess’: What?
Jess: She knows you’re putting the moves on. Girls know, you know.
I held her hand. This tease would be fun. This girl is pissing me off.
Jess’: Is this some moves?
She held my hand tighter. What is with this girl?
Jess: It’s up to you.
She did that slutty pose again. I jerked my hand.
Jess’: Okaay. Let’s continue.
Jess: Scared pussy!
Jess’: I’m not scared. I just respect people.
She smiled. Like she was expecting my answer.
Jess: Okay, now I trust you completely. By the way, I’m taken. Not interested.
Jess’: So am I. Okay. I went to her house. I had this necklace with me. Just a gift. Okay. I kind of like her. But when I opened the door, she looked like an… Angel.
