XIII. Jess
Jess: I’m gay.
I didn’t know why I said that. I couldn’t think of anything to make him stop. It worked. He was shocked. Then, he smiled
Jess’: Yeah, sure.
Jess: I got a girlfriend, Alison. She is my bestfriend. We’ve been together just because I couldn’t say no. I’m sorry. But maybe you’re right. Maybe I don’t know anything about love.
Jess’: You’re kidding? Really. I thought… No way?!
I smiled as a matter in fact way.
Jess’: Don’t get me wrong but.. You’re too beautiful for another girl.
Ha! This pretty boy thinks I’m pretty. I might want to blush if only I was a girl.
Jess’: Here. For you.
He gave me this bouqet.
Jess: What’s with the flowers?
Jess’: I was supposed to give this to Angel today. I chickened out.
Jess: It is beautiful.
Jess’: Too bad she wouldn’t now.
Jess: Too bad we couldn’t finish the story.
He smiled.
Jess’: Yeah.
Then, he left.
