Freaking stupid Ethan Best.
It's all my fault anyway. I shouldn't have followed her in the first place. Shouldn't have DMed her. Shouldn't have been friends with her. Shouldn't have spent everyday talking to her. Shouldn't have met her and saved her and took her to Between the Lakes. Shouldn't have made Elijah think that there's something going on with us, when really it's not.
I don't know why she kept talking and thinking of me when she was on her first almost date with Elijah. I mean, Elijah is always on her mind -- if her mind had a name, it'd be called Elijah Best.
Well Elijah doesn't believe me one bit. If only he knew that she used to send me screenshots of himself.
She doesn't do that anymore, though.

An idea pops into my mind. I'll just text Kayleigh! I have her number.
