All was good at the Utonium household. Blossom had texted Brick to tell him that her family had approved of their dating. He smiled at the message, and shoved his phone into his jean pocket. Now it was his turn to tell his brothers. He figured that they wouldn't mind all that much since he wasn't very stealthy with hiding his feelings for her. He sighed, "time to get this over with..." he muttered. Brick got up from his bed and floated over to his two brothers who were playing video games. He stood in front of the T.V.. Butch grunted at this, "what are you a mad chick or something? Move outta the way!" Boomer had lost interest in the game they were playing, and set the controller down. "Alright bro, what's wrong?" Boomer asked. Butch put his controller down as well, irritated that his game was interrupted. He was WINNING too! He crossed his arms, "yeah, whaddya want?" Brick threw his hat to the table next to the fridge, and ran his fingers through his hair. "Listen up guys, I gotta tell you two something important." The blond and black haired siblings sat staring at him. He took a deep breath. "You know that red head I keep talking about?" Butch blurted out, "the one you keep saying how much you Lllooooooovvveee~?" Brick's face turned crimson, "Sh-shut up!" Boomer cleared his throat. "Yeah dude we know." Brick calmed down, "well I'm dating her now, and it's uh, you know, Blossom..." Butch's eyes went wide, "WHAT??? I TOTALLY THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT PRINCESS!!!" Brick shouted back, "Gross no way, she's awful! Why would you think her!?" Butch pondered for a moment, "probably because she's evil too? I dunno." Boomer smacked the back of Butch's head. "Don't you ever pay attention to anyone you dope?" Boomer has grown smarter over the years, making Butch the dumb one now. "Whaddya mean? I always pay attention." Boomer sighed, "not in the ways of love brotha. It was so obviously Blossom dude. I mean he always ran into things when she was near him, and sulk whenever he majorly failed at flirting with her." Butch felt like a moron, "that makes more sense than him liking Princess." Brick moved from his spot in front of the T.V. and slumped down in a chair. He glanced up to his brothers, "So, you guys okay with me going out with her?" They both continued playing their game. Brick threw a pillow at them agitated that they weren't listening to him. "Hey, are you two butt munchers listening to me?" The two muttered under their breath. Boomer first, "I want you to be happy man, and you obviously love her, so go ahead." Last Butch, "Man I don't care who you dig, do whatever you want." Brick rubbed his neck and sighed, "good." Boomer paused the game, "Brick we're alright with you going out with Blossom, but what about Mom and Dad? I don't know how they'll react to you dating her. I mean she used to be their greatest enemy." Boomer was right, Brick still had to tell Him and Mojo about this, even if he didn't really want to. He pondered on how he should approach them. Ah hell, what could they do that they already hadn't done to him. Brick stood up and went to his room, he would tell the other two the next day.

Brick woke the next morning to the sunlight stinging his eyes. He rolled over on his side to shield himself from the light. He rubbed his eyes and groggily sat up. His phone read that it was 10 A.M.. He grabbed a towel and went to go take a shower since he forgot to the night before. As he washed his body, he thought about how to break the news to his parents. He couldn't figure out any situation that went well, only ones that end up with HIM breathing fire and Mojo breaking objects. Although his parents didn't live together, they always had brunch every Sunday at a local coffee shop to talk about the boys. Brick got out of the shower, combed his hair back into a low ponytail, and threw on a black hoodie with red stripes, and a pair of black jeans. He went to the kitchen to grab a quick snack, then went back to his room. Brick picked up his phone, and saw a message from blossom, "Hey cutie, morning! How'd you sleep?" Brick blushed slightly and responded with, "I slept alright, how about you Pinky?" While they continued their conversation, Brick put his red converse on, and strode out the door. Blossom then asked about last night. "Hey, how did telling the boys go?" He rubbed the back of his head and sent back, "It went well I guess, now I'm on my way to tell Mojo and HIM..." Blossom's heart skipped a beat. "Ah, really? I sure hope they don't hurt you :(." Brick pouted, "Like they'll hurt me, I'm the best one of the three of us ;P." Blossom giggled, but hoped that all went well today with Brick. If they hurt him, she would feel so guilty. "Good luck today :)." Brick smiled and told her he'd talk to her later. He put his phone in his hoodie pocket and flew the rest of the way to the coffee shop HIM and Mojo would be at.

Brick landed a few shops away from the coffee shop, so he could prepare himself for the storm that awaits. He arrived and saw his parents eating and chatting about whatever ex villains talk about. He approached them slowly. HIM saw this and waved him over with his giant red claw. "Hello darling, how's one of my favorite boys?" Brick shrugged his shoulders and pulled a chair out to sit by them. "Hey guys, I, uh, need to talk to you about something." Mojo patted his son's shoulder, "Then tell us my son." Brick swallowed the lump in his throat. "You two know Blossom right?" His parents facial expressions changed from happy to irritated. "What did the little hussy do this time?" HIM groaned. Brick clenched his hands in his hoodie pockets. No one is allowed to call Blossom a hussy, she's the exact opposite of one. Brick's courage was fired up, he wasn't nervous anymore, just angry. "WELL, I just wanted to let you two know-" Brick stood up and pushed the chair back to it's original spot. "I'm dating her now. She's my girlfriend, and no one is allowed to talk down on her it doesn't matter if you're my parents or not!" Brick took out his rubber band and put it around his wrist. "I lost my cool, sorry. You two can disown me or whatever, I don't care, but she makes me happy, so deal with it." HIM and Mojo stared, shocked that their most promising son had chose to date their old worst enemy. They both then looked at each other deciding on what they should do. Brick watched as they stared at each other without saying a word. They finally looked back to him, "we are glad that you are happy Brick." HIM had said. Mojo crossed his arms annoyed, "you're happiness is more important than our views." Brick blinked a few times in disbelief, this doesn't sound right to him. He narrowed his brows and put his hands in his pockets. Brick knew better than that. His parents aren't ones to put his happiness before their own. He squinted his eyes, "alright, thanks, I guess. I'll see you later..." Brick turned and started to walk away. He wasn't going to trust that his parents were this open to his new relationship, so he was going to keep watch on Blossom, just to make sure she stayed safe. No one was going to hurt her on his watch.
