“Hawaii?” The boys said in unison. Bubbles jumped around. “Oh Boomie! We’re gonna have so much fun for the next two weeks!” She wrapped her arms around his neck. Boomer blushed and patted her back. “Yeah Bubs, we will.” Blossom grabbed her bags. “C’mon everyone! We should get our stuff, and head for the bus to the hotel.” Butch had a naughty thought enter his head. “So we’re all staying at a hotel? That’s awesome! So what’s the room situation like?” Buttercup smacked the back of his head. “Doofus. Don’t be weird.” The Professor was starting to regret his decision on letting the boys come. He couldn’t believe how open that boy was being. He was in the room for Christ's sake! He was about to say something when Brick spoke first. “Butch! Behave yourself.” He then turned to face the Professor. “I’m sorry sir, I’ll make sure he’s under control.” The Professor thanked him. Such a nice boy. He didn’t believe a single sweet word he uttered, but it was still nice to know at least one had some decency. The Professor cleared his throat. “As a matter of fact, the girls have a room. You boys have a room, and I’m in the room between both of you.” The boy’s faces drooped. What a buzzkill. How’re they supposed to have fun when he’s right next door? They looked at the girls. They didn’t seem too bothered by the situation. “Oh! The bus is here.” Blossom started towards the bus, the rest followed.
As the vehicle started moving, Blossom began naming off things they could start doing as soon as they were unpacked. Everyone groaned. “Hey babe, maybe we could just go with the flow on the trip huh?” Brick patted her thigh. She blushed, but she pouted. “Well, I just want us to do all that we can here that’s all.” Buttercup crossed her arms. “Really? Cause it sounds like you wanna boss us around the next two weeks…” Blossom whipped her head around to face BC. “You wanna repeat that?” Buttercup furrowed her brows. “Yeah. I do.” Bubbles started stuttering. “C-c’mon guys, we can work this out without harsh language. Heheh…” BC and Blossom yelled at her. “Shut up Bubbles!” Bubbles felt tears well up in her eyes. Boomer wrapped his arm around her, and she buried her head in his shoulder. “It’s okay Bubbles…”Boomer didn’t like seeing his girlfriend cry. The Professor pinched the bridge of his nose. “OKAY! Girls! We’re all a little irritated from the flight, but you’re being very inconsiderate to the people around you right now. Look around you.” The girls looked around them. People were staring, how embarrassing. The girls sunk back into their chairs. “Now I would like you to apologize to everyone.” “We’re sorry everyone…” The girls muttered. Butch and Brick snickered. Buttercup punched him in the arm. “Ow! Hey, just cause you got in trouble doesn’t mean you can take it out on me.” She was about to do it again, but she saw the Professor’s stern gaze. She lowered her arm and stared at the back of Blossom’s seat. Brick reached over for Blossom’s hand. “Hey, you look really cute when you’re mad.” Blossom held his hand. “I’ll hold your hand, but I’m mad that you laughed at me.” He squeezed her hand a little. “You’re still holding my hand though.” She smiled to herself. “Yeah…” The rest of the bus ride was quiet.
Everyone packed into the hotel and gathered at the front desk. The front desk lady had a look of despair in her eyes as soon as she saw six teenagers enter the building. “Welcome!” She greeted. “Do you have a reservation?” The Professor smiled. “Why yes ma’am. It should be under the name ‘Utonium.’” She typed on the keyboard. “That’s a cool name. Like the science element right?” He chuckled. “Yes I suppose.” She grinned at him. “Alrighty sir! Here’s your three keys and have a happy stay here!” The group thanked the woman, and they entered the elevator. They unpacked and took a quick power nap. The first up was Blossom. She left the room, and went down to the lobby. She saw Brick sitting in the lobby listening to music. She plopped down next to him. “Oh hey babe. Did you have a nice nap?” She cuddled up next to him. “Yup.” He pecked her forehead. “What should we do first Brick?” He pondered for a second. “Let’s go to the beach. It’s really nice out.” Blossom smirked. “Hmm~ Eager to see me in a swimsuit already?” He chuckled. “Don’t you wear old lady stuff though?” She playfully slapped his arm. “That was one time! I didn’t feel good that day.” There was a slight pause. “Well, do you wanna go Bloss?” She got up from her spot. “Yep, I’ll go get changed.” He got up too. “Alright, I’ll meet you down here.”
Blossom stared at the bathing suits she had laid on the bed. “Hmm…” There was a frilly pink one with bows on the hips. Another that was white with baby pink stripes. The last one was a bit childish. It was checkered pink and white with strawberries in the white squares. She. Loved. It. Would Brick like it though? Eh, who cared. All that mattered was that she liked it. She put it on and looked at herself. Although she wasn’t a fan of bikinis, this one always made her feel good. She smiled and left the room. As Brick waited for her, he began to feel impatient. How long did it take to put on a swimsuit? “Brick! I’m sorry I took so long.” Brick snapped his eyes to her. He couldn’t believe it. She looked so cute. “Oh my god. Babe, you look so cute.” She blushed, and they linked arms. As they made their way to the beach. Blossom saw woman after woman look Brick up and down. She knew he looked good, but they could make it less obvious that they were staring. She tightened her grip on his arm. He could tell that she was feeling insecure, but he’d show her he only wants her. Other women were nothing to him. They made it to the beach and found a place to set up. “I’ll go rent an umbrella and a boogie board. Did you wanna stay here so no one gets our spot?” Blossom nodded. “Sure thing.” He kissed her cheek and went to the rental shop. As Blossom watched him she was about to lose her cool. Girls kept looking at his butt. She crossed her arms and turned her gaze to the ocean. She sighed. “How pretty…” She felt a presence behind her. “Not as pretty as you.” A beautiful man with wavey dark hair, blue eyes, and tan skin smiled at her. She blushed. “Oh hi.” She waved shyly. “What are you up to today?” She looked back to Brick and pointed at him. “Oh, I’m here with my boyfriend. We’re gon-” He cut her off. “You have a boyfriend?” She was annoyed now. “Yeah.” He looked disappointed. “Just my luck.” The beautiful man turned on his heel and walked away. Brick sauntered back to his lady with equipment in hand. “I’m back babe, let’s set up.” The couple sat together under the umbrella. As redheads, they couldn’t be in the sun long or they would turn into a baked potatos. Three girls walked up to them. They seemed nervous except one, the leader. “Hi, um, my friends were wondering if you’d like to come get some ice cream with us?” Brick shifted his weight. “Sorry, I’m kinda busy.” They stammered. “You c-can bring your little sister if you want.” Blossom let her jealousy fly. She snapped. “You children need to back off! He’s my boyfriend! I’ll be damned if I let some little girls walk over here and blatantly flirt with him right in front of me!” The girls ran away from Blossom as fast as they could. Ain’t no one want that. Brick saw she was breathing heavily and her face was red. "Babe, it’s okay. I wouldn’t have gone with them.” She spat at him. “Women have been oogling and drooling over you ever since we’ve been here!” Brick reached for her hand. “I can’t stop them from looking at me Bloss.” She swatted his hand away. “Yeah! But you could stop them from flirting with you!” Brick felt his blood rise. “I told them I wasn’t interested.” She put her hands on her hips. “Uh no. I believe your exact words were “Sorry, I’m kinda busy.” What you should’ve said was “I have a girlfriend!”” Brick raised his voice “I don’t know why you’re so insecure right now! I’ve done everything I could think of to make you know that I love you! Bloss I love you! You need to calm down.” Tears started falling from her eyes. She wiped them away, but more kept coming. “I don’t know why I’m so jealous. You’re right you do make me feel loved Brick. I love you too… Maybe… Maybe it’s because I hate the way I look.” Brick once again tried reaching out for her. He didn’t want her to feel that way “Blossom…” She wiped her eyes one more time. “Brick I need to be alone for a bit, I’ll see you back at the hotel.” Brick tried to stop her. “Bloss wait!” She turned and ran back to her hotel room.
