When I finished the song, I heard two people clapping from the doorway.
My head snapped up to see who it was, "I see you still have your musical talent Radley," Pietro commented as he walked over to me with Wanda smiling behind him.
"I see you are not still crazy and refusing to wear pants, Pietro," I said in a teasing tone.
He put a hand over his heart, "You wound me brother,".
I lazily strummed the guitar before starting to put it back.
"You aren't going to play?" Wanda asked with disappointment in her voice.
"Did you want me to continue playing?" I asked.
They both nodded their heads before looking at each other and then back at me, "Pleaaaaaasssse?" they both asked in union.
I gave an exaggerated sigh, "Fine," I told them picking up the acoustic once more.
I followed the two into the living room with the guitar strapped to my back. I thought of what to play. I didn't remember many songs...
Wanda seemed to realize this as she went back to the room and grabbed a book. She flipped through it before pointing to a song.
It had a lot of the same notes, 'Secret of the Forest' was the title at the top of the page.
I moved to sit cross-legged on the couch before I started to play the tune on an endless loop.
They sat in front of me on the floor.
I didn't think they minded since it was a peaceful, seamless loop that went together perfectly.
I continued to play, even after the two had fallen asleep on the floor.
"You can play the guitar?" I heard from the doorway.
I was startled, but I didn't show it.
Instead, I stopped for a moment and gave a quiet, "Shhh," before continuing to play.
The group was silent and listened to the song's endless loop.
(The song is Chrono Trigger's 'Secret of the Forest')
