A/N this is set in the room dan does most of his new liveshows aka the one with the white piano
Dan took me to a little study room. It was covered in little succulents and books. He then took a seat beside the white piano, and ushered me to sit next to him. He smiled and turned on the piano.
"I've been practicing this song and I really want you to hear it," Dan spoke softly.
His fingers gracefully moved along the keys, as the sounds started to form a sweet melody. I then recognised the tune. Dan was playing All of Me by John Legend. Our eyes met and a smile crept over both of our faces. Dan continued to play the piano. I was so caught in the moment that I started to sing the lyrics.
"My head's under water
But I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind "
I turned back to Dan to see his astonished face. I felt my face turn bright red.
I knew it. I suck at everything. Why am I like this. I can't do anything right. I probably ruined the moment as well. I always ruin everything.
" I'm sorry I ruined the moment, its just sometimes I-,"
"You have a wonderful voice, and you didn't ruin the moment. If you want you can keep singing as I play?"
I nod in agreement. Dan then plays the song again from the start. He smiles assuring me to sing along.

I close my eyes just to process what's happening while I continue singing.

I harmonise the lyrics which results in a larger grin by Dan.

I look down at Dan who was gracefully moving his fingers across the keyboard.

Dan then spoke up," your voice is magical, and I hope that you feel better, also know you can tell me anything . . . you can trust me Y/N,"
"You know I've never felt so comfortable with someone, so that's good," I chuckled.
"Also I'm sorry for not doing anything at the café, I'm just to awkward I guess but that's not a good enough excus-,"
"It's okay Dan I forgive you and I'm also sorry for always being a nuisance and for always needing attention, and whenever you see me I'm always sad and I'm know I'm just worthless and I still don't know why you haven't left me like everyone else,"
"You're perfect Y/N L/N,"
Dan then lent in and starred from my eyes to my lips. As we moved the hair covering my face, a pink blush crept onto my face. His lips then melted into mine as my hands slipped through his curly brown hair. We both pulled away, breathless.
"Well I um better get going then," I said.
I quickly gave Dan another peck on the cheek before leaving a blushing Dan.
