It's been two days and I have seen a slight change in the size of my stomach already, which made me almost hit my head in the ceiling from jumping. I was just told that I had another life growing within me and now my bump is already beginning to become visible.

My appetite had increased and because of me, Ashanti's refrigerator is always empty which shocked me at how much food I can eat. I just simply crave food every single minute of the day.

Ashanti was currently out to get more food and I was stuck here with nothing to do. I was already hungry although I just ate a large salad bowl a few minutes ago.  It was a good thing that Ashanti had a backyard garden.

Patting my stomach, I got on the floor and began to meditate. It would help me keep my mind off food and I had nothing else to do, so why not? Besides, it would probably help all the food that I ate this morning digest.

More than ten minutes had pass by and I was proud of myself for remaining focused, but that all went down the drain when the aroma of delicious food hit me like a wrecking ball. In a flash, I was on my feet and jumping up and down excitedly.

It wasn't long before Ashanti came in with many plastic bags filled with food and some paper bags that had scrumptious smells coming from them.

He tossed me a paper bag which I hurriedly open to find three pork pies inside. I greedily ate them up as he began stocking the refrigerator and cupboards. When I was done, I stared into the bag hoping another one would appear out of nowhere.

"They're looking for you," Ashanti said, making me stop my staring and look up at him. "They have more wolves sent on the lookout in hopes of finding our location and from what I've heard, Jovano is still not over you." His tone got a little bit harsh towards the end.

I was surprised to hear that Jovano was not over me, since the Moon Goddess was supposed to have cut off the fake ties we shared.

"Word has it that he wants to get you back and will stop at nothing, but in my opinion he wants you back so badly because he heard all the stories they have about you." I nodded my head, not knowing what to say.

What Ashanti was saying could be true but I didn't want to believe it. Jovano was so sweet to me but I didn't think that he wanted me for the powers that people assumed I had and because of what the Goddess had said.

I hoped that maybe he would find his true mate so that they could be happy and so that his pack could have the Luna that they deserved.

"You said that we were safe here, right?" I asked, just making sure that they wouldn't find us easily and because I was beginning to get worried. I didn't want to face Jovano after the way I had leave his pack.

"Don't worry, they won't be able to find this place and even if they do, they won't last a day in these woods." He had a look in his eyes that told me it would be best not to ask any further questions, so I didn't.

Instead, my attention was back to the food he brought but I knew that he wouldn't give me anymore. Sighing, I played with the paper bag, creating shapes with it. I felt a hand playing in my head and I looked to see him twirling a few strands of my hair.

"The blonde is returning quickly," he said, as I took some of my hair in my hands. From my roots going down to almost half of my hair's length was already blonde while the remainder was still black.

"Can I have some more food please?" I asked although it sounded like I was begging, which I kind of was.

He gave me a look that said really before shaking his head. "You're overfeeding the baby and it is not even that big yet and you managed to empty out my fridge in two days."

Sighing, I looked elsewhere knowing that what he was saying was true but I was just so hungry all the time.

It was a known fact that werewolf pregnancies was different from humans and that the mothers had to eat more than the humans, but I was eating way much than a normal pregnant werewolf. Then again, this was not a normal pregnancy even for a werewolf.

"So what else did you hear?" I asked, wanting to distract myself from the yummy smell of all the goodies he had bring back and because I didn't like the silence.

"Well," he began, looking like he was wondering whether or not to tell me. "I managed to hear the latest rogue gossip saying that an Alpha knows the truth about you and what you can really do."

"So I'm the hot new topic then," I said, rolling my eyes. "Did you hear anything that don't include me in it?" I didn't want to hear anymore rumors which were just plain out ridiculous. It made me wonder who and how they came up with it.

"Well some of the rogues are planning an attack on the Crystal Lake pack," he said with a light chuckle.

Well the way the Goddess explained things, there was nothing I could say. Ever since the Crystal Lake pack got their new Alpha, he has been nothing but cold towards the pack members.

He was well known for his behavior and the former Alpha, his father, is ashamed of him. He has given the pack a bad name and they have lost most of their allies.

All he does is sleep around and get drunk while leaving most of the work to be done by his beta. He looks for any little reason to kick someone who disrespects him out of the pack, reducing the number of members significantly.

Maybe the Moon Goddess was right. These Alphas have gotten out of control and needs someone to set things right again.
