I was sitting in the corner of the bathroom on the cold marble tiles, as I brought my legs up to my face and wrapped my hands around them. My tears had now dried up and so did the blood that was covering up my hand.

My eyes were closed as my head rested on my knees as I tried my hardest to just disappear from the world, leaving all my pain and trouble behind.

The voices of my previous pack members filled my head, as they continued to tell me to kill myself, that I didn't belong here and I was wasting everyone's time including mine. I was a nobody that didn't deserve to be here.

The bathroom door squeaked open, but I didn't pay attention to it as I rocked myself back and forth. My back was hitting the wall as I continued to rock myself, each time knocking it a little bit harder than before.

Suddenly I was being scooped off the ground and into his arms. The tingles spreading through my body like some kind of disease, but it made me feel warm in the inside.

"Why did you do cut your beautiful hair?" He asked when had placed me on the bed. His tall, muscular frame was standing in front of me, as I ignored looking at him. I just couldn't bring myself to look at his face.

"What is wrong with you?" He asked more to himself than me, which brought back memories I was trying to suppress deep within my mind.

Trying to avoid him, I began moving upwards on the bed but he dragged me back by my foot. I didn't want to dirty his clean sheets with my bloody hands, so I let him drag me back even if I didn't want to.

"You're so thin,"he said, as his eyes observed my body. I was actually surprised he was now seeing how thin and sickly my body was, making me almost want to laugh at his blindness.

Getting off the bed, I began walking to the bathroom but he stood in my way. He was about to speak, when I showed him my bloody hands and pointed towards sink. He allowed me to wash my hands while he stood in the doorway watching me. His eyes never straying away.

After scrubbing off every bit of blood from my hands, I was about to exit the bathroom when he stood in the way, blocking me.

"I'm taking you to the pack's doctor. You are not healthy in any way and I am sure your health is at risk," he said seriously, as he grabbed my hand and began dragging me away, but there was no way I was going to see a doctor.

"No!" I yelled out, as I pulled my hand out from his grip which hurt a little. "It's dangerous," I stuttered, my eyes opened wide as I backed away from him.

"What's dangerous?" He growled out, scaring me even more as my heart did a flip in my chest. There was nothing scarier to me, than the thought of your own mate hurting you and right now that was all I could think about.

"Answer me!" He yelled angrily, as he stalked towards me. I looked towards the door and back at him before attempting to make a run. That was a big mistake, because in less than a minute I was being slammed into the wall as his hand was wrapped around my neck.

"I said to answer me!" He growled out as his silver eyes changed to black. His grip around my neck was slowly tightening, as it got harder for me to breathe properly.

"Thank you," I whispered, as I thought that maybe he would end my life right here and now, but I was wrong. It seemed as if he realized what he was doing, because in an instant I was no longer being held against the wall but instead wrapped in his arms.

"I'm so sorry, but if you don't answer me, you will be punished." He run his fingers through my now short hair, while taking in deep breaths of my scent.

I pushed him back as I moved away from him. I didn't know what else I could do besides just answering his questions, at least for now. Looking back at him, I saw that his eyes were filled with hurt and pain, but he brought it upon himself although I was the main reason.

"They are coming back for me. If they find out that I can speak, then will stop at nothing to get me and I'm afraid they will come after you as well." I sighed, as I let my legs give up beneath me, but before I could fall onto the floor, he caught me.

"Whoever they are, I will never let them take you away from me and besides the doctor is going to help you," he said soothingly.

It seemed he didn't really understand what I had said back in the woods and I didn't like repeating myself. I hated using my voice because it was what everyone seemed to want from me.

"Your men are loyal, I understand," I said, looking into the silver eyes that I was slowly growing to love. "But they can enter into people minds and tamper with their brains." I was hoping that he was understanding what I was saying. I did not want to give out too much information, fearing that they would somehow hear me.

"Who are they and why are you so important to them?" He asked after a long time of silence. I was getting tired of talking, so I decided this would be the last question of his that I answer to.

"I can't tell you who they are and all I know is that I am the key to something big." I paused as I placed my hand around my throat, because I still wasn't used to talking for so long. "My mother wasn't killed by rogues but them and now they are after me. It was all a lie to cover up their intentions. I wish I could tell you more, but I can't. At least not right now."

With that, I went into the bathroom and began filling up the tub. I wanted to feel close to her and since she loved water, the tub was my only option.

"I am going to make someone bring up some food for you and you must eat all," he said, as I nodded. He then went out the room as I proceeded to remove my clothing before going into the water.

It felt nice to tell him some of the truth but a part of me wanted to tell him about Alpha Malik. It's just that even the walls have eyes and I did not want my survival for this long to be in vain.
