Chapter 23

Ashton's POV

I came back to my apartment after work to find Rose dancing around jamming to music. Rose is a terrible dancer, just saying.

She was singing along and her voice was beautiful. The funny thing was the song was 23 by Mike Will Made It featuring Miley Cyrus. I laughed to myself as she danced around the apartment in her yoga pants and tight shirt, not noticing me.

Then I quickly went behind her and hugged her from behind.

"OH MY GOD MURDER, MURDER!" Rose started screaming and I almost died laughing.

I deepened my voice, "Yes, I'm here to take you to a type of hell called school and make you do 150 push-ups."

She gasped and let out a sigh of relief.

"Ashton you're such a jerk." Rose said laughing and I kissed her neck chuckling.

"OH MY GOD MURDER, MURDER." I said in a high-pitched girly voice, mocking Rose.

"Shut up." She mumbled and tried to escape my arms but I wouldn't let her.

"Are you mad?" I questioned into her ear.

"Uh yes..?" She said almost questioning. I chuckled, she's too cute.

"Don't be mad," I said as I start to kiss up her neck, "It was only a joke."

She sighed and laughed, "I know."

I continued to kiss up her neck and I felt her tense up.

"Ashton you better let me go. You know I was fixing dinner." Rose said as she tried to pull my hands away.

"But baby I haven't been with you all day." I whined and smirked slightly.

"Oh shush you need to do a lot more to get me." She said and I could see her smirking.

I sighed and let her go. God, does she have to be so sexy?

"So what's for dinner buttercup?" I asked as she walked over to the kitchen.

"Well you have like no food to cook with so I ordered pizza." She laughed and looked at me.

"YOU LIAR! You didn't fix dinner." I pointed at her, accusing her of lying. She put her hands up as in trying to defend herself.

"Oh whatever, don't whine too much babe." Rose said and winked. I started walking towards her and she backed up against the counter.

"Why did you lie?" I whispered in her ear huskily.

Rose's POV

"Why did you lie?" Ashton whispered in my ear as he backed me up on the counter.

"Why not?" I replied with a smirk.

"Because there's a punishment for lying to me." He whispered in my ear again and I bit my lip. Then I looked into his eyes and started going closer to his face and our lips met. There went the sparks again.

He snaked his arms around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Ashton brought his other hand up my back as he deepened the kiss and he bit my bottom lip. I let out a soft moan.

What the hell? Did I just moan because he bit my lip?

He started to put his hand up my shirt-DING DONG. The doorbell went off. The pizza was here. I heard Ashton groan in frustration and then he went to the door.

"That'll be $5." I heard the pizza guy say.

"Yeah ok one second. HEY ROSE YOU GOT $5?" Ashton yelled to me.

"One second." I said as I got the five dollars and went up to hand it to Ashton. I looked at the pizza guy and he wasn't too shabby, Ashton was hotter though. The pizza guy seemed to find me attractive because he was checking me out.

Ashton cleared his throat and said, "Your five dollars."

"Thanks." The pizza guy said and handed the box to Ash, still looking at me.

"Well if you could stop checking out my girl and leave that would be great." Ashton said doing a wicked smile and the guy frowned and left. Ash slammed the door.

"Hey don't be mad." I said and kissed his cheek. He seemed to calm down by the and smiled slightly.

"Yea I will. Anyway let's eat this pizza shall we?" Ashton said as he set the pizza on the coffee table by the couch.

"Yes I love pizza." I said smiling and then my phone started ringing. I looked at the contact name.

Mom.
